To ask for some psychic woo/bored guesses to help me locate my husband’s wedding band?

My husband has lost his wedding band and I said maybe we could speak to a medium/psychic to find it….well seeing as I have a quiet Saturday night ahead (he’s gone out) does anyone fancy a guess to where it may be…bored guesses welcome but woo woo guesses definitely invited 😎

yabu - just look for it with your actual eyes instead of slobbing on the sofa!
yanbu - woo is the way!

@Cakeandcoffee93 I will need husbands help with this as I have MS so I can’t move it myself. I reckon that’s a good likelihood of it being there so will strip the bed in the morning thank you :)

In the bed

WheelyMom · 17/09/2022 21:58

@TheUniversalsHere I’d love him to decorate haha! Thank you for joining in! Perhaps in the garage if he’s been sorting through things it could be on top of something in there!

@iveseenitinthemovies we have a gravel border in the front garden with lavender in it…I will absolutely be looking in the morning, thank you!

Rolled under furniture - sofa/wardrobe/side board etc
up somewhere high like a shelf or unit and he’s forgotten he put it there safe
in a shopping carrier bag if you save them somewhere to reuse for your next shop
Wallet
childs toy box if you have children
laundry basket
in plain sight but hard to notice like on a coaster or ornament
caught up in the mop or hoover
All I could think of! Hope you find it soon!

DrinkReprehensibly · 17/09/2022 22:01

In my twenties, I found my lost ring encased in cheese stuck to the back of the sandwich toaster in the kitchen. I guess I'd taken it off to wash up or something and it had rolled under the sandwich toaster.

It’s lodged in a pocket corner, something you think you have checked.

I’m going to say specifically in the little extra pocket you get in jeans, usually left hand side. It’s a tiny weeny pocket, fuck knows what it’s for. But it’s exactly the right size to hold a ring.

WheelyMom · 17/09/2022 22:02

@Whattodonowadays I love this, a message of hope, I’m so glad you found yours! It’s around somewhere I’m sure but feel a clear out and de clutter is needed!

@Riverhousepuppy I’ve added clothes pocket to a list for him to do in the morning, thank you :)

DH lost his the other day and it was inside the duvet cover - try that or inside the pillow case.

WheelyMom · 17/09/2022 22:06

@PurpleBlis ok I feel like this is a real possibility but I need to muster up the energy to tackle this, it’s on the list for the morning! haha! Thank you!

My mums gardener found her wedding ring for her; it had been in the garden border for forty years!

PestoPasghetti · 17/09/2022 22:13

In the wine rack? I couldn't find my glasses one morning when I was staying with my parents, had a general hunt and then just randomly felt drawn to check the wine rack. I did, and low and behold they were in there!! I don't drink alcohol...

WheelyMom · 17/09/2022 22:17

@FrazzleDazz I can’t face the filter tonight but it’s on the list for tomorrow thank you!

Freezer. I found my ring after 6 months…clearly not cleaning it enough!

Wnikat · 17/09/2022 22:19

It’s on a grey carpet by a chest of drawers

MusicOfTheTraffic · 17/09/2022 22:22

When my DH first lost his wedding ring (it's a theme) it was in the rubber surround of the washing machine drum.

It had been there 2 months by the time we found it and he'd already got a replacement.

Good luck finding it!

WheelyMom · 17/09/2022 22:30

@greenhousegal In the interests of woo I have asked st Anthony! Will donate to the MS society if it turns up! Speaking of which I my MS fatigue is kicking in so I’m struggling to reply to everyone. I have a pencil and notepad and I have a list for tomorrow! Thank you so much for the suggestions so far, I am going through them all!

Check on the floor or in any towels in the house. DH lost his and it had come off on the kitchen towel when he wiped his hands and was sitting in the towel.

Inklingpot · 17/09/2022 22:34

Don’t be daft. No one can know this.

Hillsmakeyoustrong · 17/09/2022 22:34

If he puts it on window sills could it have fallen outside rather than inside?

WheelyMom · 17/09/2022 22:35

@MusicOfTheTraffic oh no, so glad you found it, but costly! I don’t know how long to wait before we replace it! Or wether we just do a cheapie thinking it will have to be somewhere…and then do some major cleaning!

OP posts:
WheelyMom · 17/09/2022 22:37

@MusicOfTheTraffic It doesn’t open that way, it’s too opening. The other windows have lips, thank you for the suggestion though!
