I'm not going to say what I see wrong with this, but I'm starting to think that I am in fact being unreasonable

LTB obviously 😁

Hi @BeyondApproach it's pork mince, spring onion, soy, ginger, garlic, gyoza wrappers (Chinese supermarket near us has them). Then you put it all together (water to seal the wrappers) and fry on one side (gently, they burn easily). Flip, add a bit of water to the pan and cover so they steam. Serve with a combo of soy and rice wine vinegar.

Mmmmmmm.

BeyondApproach · 20/09/2022 16:39

Oh. They're all flavours I love. Well ginger particularly. I'm not sure where I'd get the wraps for them. Is it a pastry of some sort? Do you fry the ingredients before putting them into the little pastries?

MrsTerryPratchett · 20/09/2022 16:42

Don't pre-cook, the steaming cooks or.

The wrappers are like a form of pastry, kind of chewy but thin. You have to get the actual one (or make them but that would be a lot of work).

MrsTerryPratchett · 20/09/2022 16:42

I bet you can get the wrappers on the internet.

DWMoosmum · 20/09/2022 16:44

Nope 🤣.

Bag full of shopping, bit innocuous!

If you have a pasta rolling machine the making of gyoza wrappers is easy. We made thirty odd yesterday. I live in rural nowhere so it's DIY or buy the expensive frozen ones. (You can then use it to make your own udon and ramen noodles too)

Neurotic isn't a word to be waved around willy nilly.

Agree.
