I only every but micro mash, my time and energy bill is worth a lot more than making bloody mash

Frozen jackets are an abomination though

DH makes amazing mash potato. He always makes a big pan of the stuff then decants it into microwaveable dishes and freezes. I love a pot with a few cubes of cheese in as it heats through. I can’t be arsed making mash but M&S used to be my favourite before DH.

I make loads of stuff from scratch kids much prefer microwave mash in its slightly gloopy, lump free, glory. I make a lovely baked potato mash that they completely reject it’s quite insulting really.

I'm not usually a mash fan, but m&s mash potato is delicious!! I usually get it at Christmas as saves the faff of making my own.

Yes!! The Lidl one is absolutely delicious. 4 minutes start to finish and better than i could ever make.

When I make my own mash, I add lots of milk and butter and get fatter as I can eat lots of it. So, now I use M&S mash because it is almost as nice and I know exactly how many calories are in a tub.

Same here. When I make it myself, I seem to end up with a massive pan full and demolish it in one meal! The M+S stuff is delish and I don’t get too greedy with it.
However, I always have a bag of IKEA mash in the freezer - it’s a great substitute!

Idahoan with butter is amazing and even easier than the microwave
