Crown estates are owned by the public and the sovereign. So all the 'the queen makes money for the people' is wrong.

But the will is different . That's all her wealth . Only royal wills are secret - all the rest of us have them publicly available online .

It's not small per se, but it has to fund almost all of the royal palaces' upkeep, which is not cheap. It also pays for the staff doing all the planning, admin, etc.

Don't particularly care. Many people on here were happy a few weeks ago to have rishi sunak be our new pm despite his wife not paying tax on her income. There are worse people out there sadly, and many already who try to avoid paying inheritance tax. They are often successful too.
