What is everyone doing with their Friday night? My daughter is away to her dads until Monday with one of the dogs. So I am here with the other dog having a glass (or three) of wine, waiting on a Chinese arriving and watching 'the thing about Pam'. Not very exciting but lovely all the same.

Just interested to here what other (more exciting) people are doing with their Friday night.

I’m trying to unwind, I’ve had a candlelit bath with some lavender and sage salt, poured myself a glass of wine and just trying to not think of the 1001 things that need doing.

I’ve come in MN to pass some time and have YouTube on in the background, mind it’s been about 4 mins since I poured myself a glass and it needs refilling again 😬

Sat waiting for DD2 to finally give in to sleep. She's exhausted after her first week of school but giddy as she enjoyed herself so much. Long may it continue. DD1 is reading to her Dad and DD 3 is snoring away. I've got a glass of red and Grey's Anatomy to watch once she's firmly gone

I'm here with ds (18).

We had dinner and watched a film.

He's now gaming and I'm watching TV and MNing.

He's a swimmer so we were up at 4am (normal!). So will collapse in bed soon even though neither of us need to be up tomorrow!

Watching MAFS

It's still late afternoon here. I had the bivalent covid booster this morning so I'm mostly resting. DH and DS are making pizza for dinner later. I'm watching old episodes of Supernatural on Netflix, so that's what's on for tonight.

Fish finger butty with tomy ketchup for tea.
watching Belfast, good so far.
Then bath, bed. Early night.
No reason for it, but I’m tired tonight.

Just had moules frites and champagne. Watching Nicola Benedetti, perfect.

Reading posts here, obviously.. DS hasn't been to the gym so he's comandeered my tv (more room in here) to do his 'ringfit' thing.
Before that, had munched, then watched the service for the Queen from St Paul's, & wished I hadn't. Soggy tissues. :-(

I've been to the PT. Dd1 and I are now avoiding hanging washing on the airer because there's a huge spider in the way 😱

At home with husband having pizza and wine, catching up on first dates hotel and MAFSUK 😂

Im going to walk the dog, watch googlebox and have a lovely bubble bath with bath bomb. Probably stay up till the early hours reading.

Psyching myself up to start fosterling's adoption introductions tomorrow. This is the part of fostering I hate. Little one is 2 and has been here forever, it is absolutely the right move but it doesn't make the letting go any easier.

Friday night is takeaway night in this house always (may have to change that with the recent price hikes!)
No young children here- just me, DH and DS who is 20 and we have all worked flat out all week and are knackered! In fact DS walked in from work at 5.30pm and fell asleep for an hour.
Working my way down a bottle of white whilst on here browsing- DH and DS on their tablets and room 101 in the background. We have all had a good chat/moan and will all be flaked out soon I think. TFI Friday and looking forward to a lie in tomorrow.

@bloodywhitecat so worth it though. I have two AS and feel forever indebted to both foster carers who did a simply outstanding job.

DS, six, and I went to the cinema to watch Tad, The Lost Explorer.
Now homes trying to unpack from last weekends trip to Isle of Wight but can't be bothered.
I'm inclined to, after reading posts here, have a glass of vino and jump into the bath or watch a home design type show on the TV!

I’ve baked a cake, eaten some of said cake, there’ll be another half hour or so of doom scrolling then an early night. First week of term has wiped me out!

Reading 📖

DH has been working away so we're all together. No one was inspired to cook so we ordered takeaway. Ate it watching the Incredibles while it lashed it down.

Sitting in the lounge with the patio doors wide open, listening to gentle rain pattering outside and enjoying the peace and tranquility, with the sound of the sea in the distance. DH & I just had a lovely meditation session and he's fallen asleep on the floor (thankfully no snoring... yet)!

Things certainly have changed from our very hedonistic and debauched earlier years together, but I wouldn't change things for the world. I'm feeling very thankful for my lot tonight.

Popped up to my sisters to check on the house as she's away, DP currently cooking Enchiladas ready for when I get home, then will pour a gin and spend the evening trying to convince him that going on a cruise next year is absolutely the best idea (he is very against it right now) 😁😁

Debating whether to open the wine and chocolate and retreat into Netflix or just go to bed, shattered after a busy week at work.
