I find it hard to think that the family will stay in the castle where the queen will also be?

Why do you find it hard??

cardibach · 08/09/2022 21:58

Pretty sure they will. It was normal for most people not that long ago.

MistressIggi · 08/09/2022 21:59

It's normal for a lot of people now 🤷🏻‍♀️

MistressIggi · 08/09/2022 21:59

Are you worried there won't be enough bedrooms for everyone?

orangechoco · 08/09/2022 21:59

Death really scares me so I'm trying to understand it

HadEnoughOfBears · 08/09/2022 22:00

Why do you find it hard exactly?

orangechoco · 08/09/2022 22:00

I can't be near anything that has passed away so I couldn't imagine how they will sleep knowing that she is a few rooms away

limitededitionbarbie · 08/09/2022 22:00

I saw my Nan and she just seemed so small to what she was like in life. She seemed tiny.

Skinnermarink · 08/09/2022 22:00

It has like 179 rooms probably.

Honestly that’s really scraping the barrel for things to be concerned about.

orangechoco · 08/09/2022 22:01

Just for the record, I love the queen and find it very sad she has passed away

Don’t ever go into hospital for any reason then.

DwightShrutesYFronts · 08/09/2022 22:01

Breaking News OP. It's not all about you.

HTH

HadEnoughOfBears · 08/09/2022 22:01

Sorry x post there.

But it's perfectly normal for many people now. And in their case it's not like they're all squeezed into a 2 bed semi

Why? People die every day in their homes.

Questions like this are part of the reason I feel sorry for the monarchy. The overwhelming feeling that you are owed deeply personal and private information about someone you don’t even know.

It’s no one’s business where the body will be apart from her family.

Cuddlywuddlies · 08/09/2022 22:02

What’s hard about that @orangechoco we wake people over here in Ireland for 2 days before the funeral. I have spent many night in the room with dead family members it’s very cathartic in many ways.

TwoMonthsOff · 08/09/2022 22:02

When a loved one dies their body is not scary at all, I can assure you of that, I used to think the same but I have learned it is not the case .

Afterfire · 08/09/2022 22:02

It’s a huge residence with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. It’s very normal in many cultures to stay with a loved one for several days after they’ve passed.

Why? It’s quite normal.

orangechoco · 08/09/2022 22:03

Thank you for explaining it to me, I'm trying to get better, I don't meant to offend, I'm only asking

@orangechoco Have you been through the experience of losing a close loved one?

From my own experience, remaining with the loved ones body for a while after they have passed is quite peaceful actually.

No, that's why I'm scared

I assume they will transport her back to London asap.

TwoMonthsOff · 08/09/2022 22:04

@Sofachoices
that is true, as you know that’s the last time you will ever see them and you cherish that time 😢

BMW6 · 08/09/2022 22:05

I saw my Mum's dead body. Not at all like she was just asleep. Something missing - soul? I don't know, but something gone from the physical.
