To ask which is the best crisp flavour?

For me in first place it's an oldie ........ Walkers Smokey bacon.

Followed closely by -
McCoys King Prawn
Walkers chicken and thyme
Chilli heatwave Doritos
Branstons Beef and mustard

It depends what for. If it is for a crisp sandwich, then you need salt & vinegar.

I am a bit addicted to the crispy Wotsits at the moment. They are basically cheesy Nic Naks, and you can get them in a sharing (lol) size bag.

Brannigans Beef and Mustard

Brannigans Ham ans Pickle

Both discontinued 😭

I bought my ex a box of every single Seabrook flavour as a Christmas present. He pissed me off so i ate the lot by myself. Canadian Ham was amazing!

I forgot about ham and pickle they were good. Occasionally I'd see a rogue Brannigans box in a corner shop but it hasn't happened for years

Lays Classic (yes I know they're supposed to be Walkers ready salted under another name, but I swear they taste different)

I agree lays taste different but so nice!!

….er…that’s it. All the others taste of chemicals to me.

Which is ironic, as salt is a chemical, but it’s the only crisp that admits it. I’m prepared to bet that the closest a Prawn Cocktail Flavour crisp has got to a prawn is when it was trolleyed past the chilled fish section on the way to the checkout.

Meat flavoured crisps are all rank.

I'll make an exception for prawn cocktail but yes I know that's not meat it's fish.

Salt and vinegar all the way 🙌🏻

Discos, squares, chipsticks or spirals are the best.

Cheese and onion taste like how BO smells.

God, ready salted chipsticks! I LOVED them.

My favourites are the crunchy version of Wotsits that someone mentioned earlier, and the salt and pepper different shaped big bags from M&S or Waitrose.

Co-Op also did some 'dirty fries' flavour crisps, which were a spiced cheese flavour, really moreish!
