To be concerned with my neighbours potentially being a drug dealer

I really don’t want to sound like a nosy neighbour but my NDN has been acting very strangely and I am legitimately worried that he’s dealing drugs. I do live in what many would class as a ‘rough’ area..

So the first give away is he went from some beat up 2001 plate Renault Clio to a brand new BMW in all black with tint on the windows. Must have cost an absolute bomb! He stays at home most days and I don’t know what he does for work but definitely not the kind of work where he’d be able to afford that kind of car!

He has a lot of visitors. None of them stay very long from what I can tell. There’s always someone coming or going.

He is very secretive and barely talks. I often say hello and try to initiate conversation but he never wants to hang around and have a conversation.

I just get a really weird vibe from him and don’t know how or if to proceed!

A drug dealer carrying a gym bag full of drugs around casually. 🤣

Its not drugs in there obviously! It's probably full of cash that he's taking to get laundered. 😁

Thats not quite it, there is more stuff! For example when I see him he’s often carrying around a massive gym back but I don’t believe he goes to the gym!

I just have a weird feeling about him!

Ach now I know you're pulling our legs😂

I spat my tea out laughing at people suggesting he is doing a legitimate work from home job. I know the type you are talking about OP as I grew up in a very rough area. In an ideal world you'd report him and it would be stopped but in reality that's not what happens so if he is not otherwise interfering with you or causing you any bother I'd just try to take no notice.
My mother had a dealer across the road from her for years and you wouldn't be able to get parking on Friday nights for the line of cars waiting to call on him for their weekend supply. He is currently doing 10 years so it did catch up with him.

Leave the guy alone!

He hasn't caused any problems for you. You're suspicious of him because he (a) doesn't talk much to you and (b) has a new car, and (c) sometimes carries a bag. My upstairs neighbours have never really spoken to me, and have a very new (3 months' old) car, I have no idea what they do for work, sometimes they carry things in bags when they leave their house, yet the last thing I'd do is call the police and report them for dealing!

I'd assume he has a new job and a company car.
