To have bought Harry Styles tickets?

No DC to take, no excuse, but his last couple of singles just make me really happy and remind me of great times this summer, so I've spontaneously bought early-release tickets for Wembley next year. DH will come with me and we'll make a day or two in London out of it.

Now slightly concerned that at pushing 40 we'll be the oldest swingers in town the stadium though. Or at least the oldest who are not accompanying teenage girls Blush.

Look though.. 😍

Looks like he's been drawing on himself.

Would look better without them.

mattressspring · 02/09/2022 08:38

I signed up to live nation last night out of curiosity and there were tickets from £68.

FettleOfKish · 02/09/2022 10:42

I paid about £78 a ticket yesterday for seated at the back of Wembley (but row 2 so the front of the back, if you get my meaning).

It's not something we do every day or even every year so for 2 spectacular artists I'm happy with that.

I'm seeing screengrabs on Twitter of the general sale today though. Upwards of £350 a ticket for the pits right at the front of the stage from where you can see up his trouser leg. The benefits of being in the older end of his fans I suppose is that I can't imagine anything worse than standing throughout Wink

Mine was £108, good seats, not quite up his trouser leg though!

dottypotter · 02/09/2022 12:04

He's already made about 100 million
It's never enough for people is it?Have money, want more money

Couldn't give a shit about you and your finances/,rising cost of living etc

He's only a very mediocre x factor singer not a top notch singer with one of the best voices in the world.
Crazy .

mattressspring · 02/09/2022 12:21

The tickets today for the close up pods were half the price people paid yesterday through pre sale sites

You know buying tickets to see any artist is optional?

Plump82 · 02/09/2022 12:22

I got tickets for Murrayfield this morning. Surprisingly easy to get and stress free. I'll be 41 and I'm going with my MIL who is late 60s. I'm ridiculously excited!!!

Exactly. And you could say that about every successful artist.

FettleOfKish · 02/09/2022 13:50

Well I've just managed to get slightly better seats for the newly released Saturday night which makes much more sense for us than a Wednesday given we'll need to stay in London overnight.

Now waiting for re-sale to become available for my Wednesday tickets.

Can confirm to the doubters above that all of this is completely optional and we are in no way bankrupting ourselves or being held to ransom by paying what we consider to be a reasonable amount of money for what is likely to be (for us) a very enjoyable evening out.

@dottypotter £100 million quid you say? Good on him.

To all the people rolling their eyes at ticket prices, do you understand how expensive it is to put on a tour of this scale?

You know it's not Harry pocketing all the proceeds from the tickets right? You've got promoters, venue, musicians, a huge touring crew, lighting, sound, production management, staging.

His new album is an absolute banger, I'll hopefully grab some via twickets nearer the time.

mattressspring · 02/09/2022 14:29

I always think it's funny when people have an attitude about someone fortunate enough to earn massive. Good on him. I don't have a jealous streak though and appreciate all the money in the world is not worth the loss of freedom Harry now has to contend with, not for me anyway. I'm happy being skint and invisible, I don't begrudge anyone their finances though.

jeaux90 · 02/09/2022 14:31

I got tickets this morning too, my joy is camouflaged by my DD13 being over the moon.

AuntieMarys · 02/09/2022 14:34

You lucky things!!

I think this about the likes of Cliff, Rod Stewart, Elton John who are well past retirement age, (but obviously people still want to see them!) not someone in their 20s!!

I got tickets for my DD. (She went this year too, in June) but apparently it would be too embarrassing to go with mum! 😭

ChrisTrepidation · 02/09/2022 15:40

Well I went to Wembley stadium in June on my own to see him...I'm 43.

I was down in front pitch standing with the teenagers and had an amazing time. Enjoy! He's fantastic live.

Haggisfish3 · 23/05/2023 09:27

Anyone been to the Harry styles gigs and can tell me what time wet leg came on?

AuntieMarys · 23/05/2023 09:32

Seeing him next month...dh and I are 64

megletthesecond · 23/05/2023 09:45

haggis if you search 'loveontourcoventry' on twitter it should be there. I'm sure they're 19:30. We're going to Wembley.

Plump82 · 23/05/2023 18:11

I was hoping to miss the support act. Not keen on them at all! We're going to Murrayfield.

JohnsShirt · 23/05/2023 18:16

He'll be on at 8.30/9.
I'm queuing from 6am because I'm insane and absolutely love him, so much so I have two Harry tattoos and I'll be wearing an aubergine on my head.

🎤' There's 2 people dressed as peas...is anyone dressed as an aubergine?' 🎤

If that's the timings then we'll definitely be seeing the support act as we're eating at 4! Oh well.
We have seats so no need to queue. We also got an email warning no one could arrive earlier than 12 noon as it's in a residential area. I think I'd be a bit peeved at people hanging about from 6am!

It's 150 million.
He's worth every penny for me, this will be my 17th time and it's quite restrained as I had 5 tickets, but sold 4 to go to other gigs.
I have ordered his over £100 hoodie though, because I want it and I can.
I also went to his pop up shop in London from Glasgow last year, and bought a set of nail varnishes for £80.
It's Harry Styles!!!!!!!!

HadEnoughOfBears · 23/05/2023 18:20

There's two more bananas...

Going to Murrayfield on Friday. This will be the 4th time I've seen him. Plus twice in 1D.
