AIBU to go to NYC for 2 nights?

I have 4 days off coming up. I've found direct flights from my local airport that leave early in the morning on day 1 and arrive in NYC at lunchtime.

Flight home leaves evening of day 3 and lands home early day 4 morning.

No accommodation to pay for as my SIL stays there and is happy to host me (been loads of times before)

I'd be taking money out of savings to do it.

It's my last chance to go abroad before we buy a house and TTC... should i go? Is it worth the travel/expense for such a short trip?

Update: I booked it and I leave in 2 weeks, woohoo!
Thanks for encouragement and carbon donations 😉

I don't think you'll have time to get jet lag as such because you won't adjust to EST at all. You'll be tired, but that's all. Have a great time!

Yes do it, NYC is always a good idea!

@WiseUpJanetWeiss I think you're right. Also I'm straight back to work the next day so will be forced back into my normal schedule!
