Annoying advert

AIBU to think that the voice over in the Vodaphone adverts is THE most annoying ever?? I get the impression it’s supposed to sound sexy and hip (God am showing my age) but it just sounds so bloody annoying!!

Yes it is so insulting.

Yes, her voice is bloody awful.

I also hate the RSPCA advert where the Worlds Worst Actor says “oh. The poor thing. The poor thing.”

And some stupid advert with Lily James swishing around to “wouldn’t it be nice” I don’t even know what it’s advertising.

Oh, and the stupid Ian Botham Revitalift ones.

The bloody fucking meerkats.

So many irritating ads at the moment...

• The "sausage" ad
• Luton Express train ad - the way the girl walks along the platform as though she has a spring up her arse
• Tesco trolley with the man in the well
• Some ad - don't even know what it's for - with the woman keep looking at her phone going "awwwwww"
• On the radio - nothing can do what a soldier can do (as pp said).

AND the 'lets not worry about what you think, let think about how you feel' or what ever the hell it is phone one. SICK of that one over and over again.
(or is that the vodaphone one everyone's on about?)

Oh and the new Samsung flip phone one. I just don’t get it.

The recent McDonalds ad is giving me the rage!

That awful tune that goes bom bom....... bom bom....... bom bom, with the mindless witless fuckers going around raising their eyebrows twice (quickly) along with the 'bom bom!'

That makes me want to scream blue murder and throw a rock at the TV.... She keeps going 'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww' and says it about 10 times!

Do these ad makers try to make the most irksome and irritating ads possible??? To try and make people notice them????? Coz I don't notice them! I just mute the TV and ignore them!!!

Eg, as for the 'awwwwwwwwwwwwww' woman's ad - I can't even remember what it's for. And the McDonalds BOM BOM ad (with the eyebrows,) well I know it's McDonalds, but it doesn't make me want to go.

I hate the Yazoo one where it’s a load of teenagers drinking milkshake in a car listening to no scrubs.

I am so relieved that I am not alone in dispising the voice over on the Vodafone adverts.
I belive her name is Holly.
I don't know if she is 5 or 50, her voice sounds so childish. It comes in bursts like a ww1 machine gun.
I can relax now knowing that my problem is shared and halved.

I'm working in Solihull at the moment and we have Greatest Hits on the radio on site.
There is themost annoying advert with £2000 discount on all cars, by the most annoying sqeaky voiced idiot I've ever heard. And it goes on for about 30 seconds. And then to top it off they play AC/DC afterwards, another high pitched cat being strangled over rated idiot.

The worst one ever is the gross 70s style one where the woman farts and proudly goes for a poo. It's sickening.

The delivered food box one with a kid who really overacts paroxysms of joy at tasting his manky dinner.

The Omaze ads. That voice <<<shudder>>> and all I ever think is "how the hell would I dust and vacuum all those rooms?

LLoyds bank. You're a bloody bank. What are you saying, your branches are staffed by bloody horses? (They may as well be IME).

It’s hard to decide between that one and the loud slurping pot noodle one.

The gold buying advert - where the buyer will be so delighted to chat with you about what you're going to do with all that lovely money...

The Ian Botham advert always cracks me up when he says "and no drugs".
I haven't forgotten his pot smoking days of the 80,s. No good for you then I always say.

The new lucozade one sounds like he's swearing !
