Can a psychic find my wedding and engagement rings???

Long time lurker but feeling desperate. Had a pretty crumby year and to top it off a few weeks ago I lost my wedding and engagement ring! My DH is pretty devastated and so am I.

We have turned our home upside down. However I just can't shake this feeling that they are still here! Is there any psychics out there who would be willing to hazard a guess or tell me where they might be?

Try BFP (big fat psychic) on YouTube. Great for finding lost items and electric switches to switch off bathroom fan (yes!). Catch her UK/AU on Sunday and ask question in comments when live. Good luck 🤞

Do you have a dog? Check their poo

In your purse? I take mine off when I go swimming and put them in the zipped bit of my purse.

Sofa cushions?
By the sink/shower?
If you have a child do they have a special hiding place for their 'treasure'?

When was the last time you know you had them on? What were you doing? In which room? When did you notice they were missing? Where were you and what were you doing?

Have you moved the sofas and beds out and looked underneath them? Taken the cushions off the sofas? Have you taken your pillows and duvet off the bed to look? Have you checked under the kick boards in the kitchen? Moved appliances to look for them? Have you emptied out drawers and shaken out clothes? Checked coat pockets?

There's looking and then there's looking

I lost a ring that turned up having fallen and wedged itself in a jumble of wires half way up the wall (behind the sideboard). It remained ‘lost’ for so long because I’d been looking at floor level. Don’t give up hope.

Try digging over the garden, especially around any carrots you may have planted.

I once lost a necklace for a couple of years. I found it by chance when looking out of my bedroom window, I looked down and noticed the wallpaper under the window had slightly come away and there it was tucked inside.

Somewhere near/behind your washing machine or tumble drier

This!

Today after losing my grandmother’s engagement and my mum’s engagement and eternity ring about ten plus years ago I found them. I have looked loads of times all over the house and prayed to St. Anthony lots of times to no avail. Today I decided to tidy up and reorganise my wardrobe and tried on a jacket, put my arms down and realised there was something in the pocket. Out of the blue there they were in their boxes in the pocket. I am so thrilled as the guilt I suffered about losing them because of the sentimental but also the monetary value was awful.

Try the pockets. I hope you find them soon otherwise methodically go through each room but write down where you have looked( I didn’t do this but wish I had as forgot where I had checked) and keep a note of it.

Does this mean you haven't worn that jacket for 10 plus years?
I'm glad I'm not the only one with a wardrobe full of clothes I never wear. 😅

Carpet. That's it really. Maybe between carpet and a piece of furniture. Was on floor and you've unknowingly kicked them further...

Soap. It has something to do with soap.

Just thought I’d pop on a wee update to say I found them!!! Discovered them yesterday in a small wee case I use every single day wedged right into the corner (they came on three separate overnight trips with me and I never even noticed).

It’s a small win in an otherwise crappy year so I’m very happy and thank you for all the comments.

How funny, I thought about this thread just the other day as I was listening to a thing about dowsing. Not that my dowsing crystal helped…

They're on the bedroom floor

No, but St Anthony can. He is the patron Saint of lost items. Ask him to help. When you find them come back on here and tell us. Also say a Hail Mary as a thank you. He’s my patron Saint and helps me a lot.

My Italian colleague leaves money in the office for St Anthony when he loses things, complete with post it notes addressed to the Saint and telling him what he has lost. The funny thing is that everyone then helps him to look for whatever it was and it usually is found.

@Findmyrings101 that's great news! They were looking at you all along

olympicsrock · 16/11/2022 07:04

Mine was in the pocket of my yoga bag. Took them off one day when my hand was swollen. Didn’t notice I didn’t have for a week as our marriage was rocky.

found a year later when DH got the bag out of the under stairs cupboard to support me doing something for myself and washed my bag as smelling musty to be lovely.

@Findmyrings101 Glad you've found them.

I wish I could find my engagement ring. It's with my iPod in a case but has disappeared off the face of the earth. I'm hoping my toddler DD didn't get to it when she went through her phase of throwing everything in the bin.
I lost the ring before when we were moving house and it was found somewhere that was completely impossible. Now it's been lost for 18mths 😣.

CambsAlways · 16/11/2022 07:37

I’ve also lost my dads wedding ring, ( not stolen) I know that for fact as no one other than myself and DH in the house, I will have to ask St Anthony, I must admit I can misplace things at the drop of a hat but generally find them few days later, must be an age thing🙄

Starlitexpress · 16/11/2022 11:27

So pleased for you!

I remember this thread originally as I was distraught that I had lost my mother's wedding and engagement rings, last seen after having a clear out months ago...........took the advice of saying a prayer to St. Anthony (lapsed Catholic) and yep, calmly going through things the next day found them.........exactly where they should have been.
