Can a psychic find my wedding and engagement rings???

Findmyrings101 · 16/08/2022 21:47

Long time lurker but feeling desperate. Had a pretty crumby year and to top it off a few weeks ago I lost my wedding and engagement ring! My DH is pretty devastated and so am I.

We have turned our home upside down. However I just can't shake this feeling that they are still here! Is there any psychics out there who would be willing to hazard a guess or tell me where they might be?

I lost my engagement ring, turned the house upside down. Not long after dp died his dad rang me, after the call I walked in what was out bedroom & my ring was in the middle of the floor. I always think it was dp telling me he loved me.

GettinPiggyWithIt · 17/08/2022 05:22

My first thought was check the tin of the washing machine

GettinPiggyWithIt · 17/08/2022 05:23

Rim

Marvellousmadness · 17/08/2022 05:23

Turn off all lights at night and shine with a torch. You might find them

But mostly just check pockets of clothes

Bluedabadeeba · 17/08/2022 06:44

Glove box of your car.

Put in a toy/pet box by a kid/pet.

In a shoe

Pockets. ALL the pockets

My nephew once put a ring in a money box slot. When he was about three. In a jar of jewellery cleaner? In a beach bag?

Thank you for all your suggestions. I’m going to have another more methodical look before we give up.

Some answers have certainly given me a bit of a chuckle.

Good luck OP, I really hope they turn up.

Could they have slid off as you made the bed? Check all the shoes, bins, sofas. A friend lost a ring when she was closing a curtain and it slipped off and down the back of the sofa.

I lost my rings when we moved house, but they were definitely stolen. I couldn’t speak about them without crying for 2 weeks Sad

Say a prayer to St Anthony.

This!

You can pray however you like but here are some examples...

Short version:
"Dear St. Anthony, please^ come^ around: something^ is^ lost, and^ it^ cannot be found."

Long version:
"St Anthony, perfect imitator of Jesus, who received from God the special power of restoring lost things, grant that I may find [name the item] which has been lost. At least restore to me peace and tranquility of mind, the loss of which has afflicted me even more than my material loss.

"To this favour, I ask another of you: that I may always remain in obsession of the true good that is God. Let me rather lose all things than lose God, my supreme good. Let me never suffer the loss of my greatest treasure, eternal life with God. Amen."

Since moving house I have prayed to St Anthony to find things a few times and not only have I suddenly seen in my minds eye where something is and found it, but I've also found other things I lost which I hadn't prayed about and had forgotten about! My prayers weren't in the formats above, they were "freestyle" prayers, so you can pray however you like!

I hope you find them (or it is revealed to you exactly what happened to them so you can rest)

HaveYouAnyDreamYoudLikeToSell · 17/08/2022 07:48

Let us know where u find them!

PewterHeart · 17/08/2022 07:48

No idea why the formatting went so weird on that previous comment 😂

WelshDaffodil · 17/08/2022 08:03

Look in a mug or cup

entropynow · 17/08/2022 08:05

No, because they are frauds.

Hira3 · 17/08/2022 08:06

Try and retrace your steps from the day you lost them. Then have a look around and see if you find them.

AngelinaFibres · 17/08/2022 08:14

Blush21 · 16/08/2022 22:07

A psychic can tell you they aren’t lost but usually not find them. I saw a particular before and they mentioned a charm bracelet I lost 2 years before, I’m convinced it’s still about somewhere and he told me it wasn’t lost, I would find it someday and to ask for those in spirit around me to return it to me or to ask st Anthony as above

I hope you didn't actually pay any real money for these pearls of wisdom.

PeppaPigIsAnnoying · 17/08/2022 08:26

If they actually had the ability to do this do you not think they'd be asked to locate missing children like Maddy?

icelollycraving · 16/08/2022 21:51

Say a prayer to St Anthony.

You have to put money in the St Anthony box in your nearest Catholic church if you are looking for something valuable.
Just asking him won't cut it. 😀

diamondpony80 · 17/08/2022 09:05

I'm not a Catholic so haven't prayed to St. Anthony, but have prayed to God when I've lost stuff and I feel like he's shown me where to find them. Like after praying a thought comes into my head about a place to look that I've already looked in, or a place that I would never have thought to look, and the missing items turn up there. I don't know if you believe or not, but if I'd lost my rings I think I'd be desperate enough to try anything!

ClottedCreamAndStrawberries · 17/08/2022 09:08

DH once lost his and actually bought a new one. I then found it in a bucket next to the sink in the downstairs loo, it had obviously been knocked off. My dad lost his for about a year. I then went to empty a bag of plastic balls (for our ball pit) and found it in there! In remembered he was the one to put the balls away after my daughter’s birthday party. Two ideas.

KosherDill · 17/08/2022 09:12

Try hypnosis?

MenaiMna · 17/08/2022 09:22

No but ask a metal detectorist to come over with their handheld probe (as opposed to the giant donut on a stick apparatus).

Mumsnut · 17/08/2022 09:25

Were they loose enough to slide off , or tight? The latter gives you a starting point, in that you would have to have taken them off deliberately , for a reason, if you can only think back and pin it down

I would try the pockets of your ‘going out’ bags

TempName01 · 17/08/2022 09:39

In a candle on shelf or mantelpiece

rightonthyme · 17/08/2022 09:51

Have you planted any carrots recently OP? So many rings end up around fully-grown carrots (or at least the newspapers would like me to believe). I so hope you find them soon.

mamabear715 · 17/08/2022 09:53

@Findmyrings101 Please let us know if you find them, and who, if anyone, was right! :-)
