In south east. It is not just hot it's overwhelming and enough to make you ill. Gone out in car just for the air con and seeing people in jeans and even seen one person in a cardigan. Wtf?!? Anyone else noticed this?

Some places you go to have fierce air conditioning and you need to think about that too.

I'm in London. It's horrid. I was sweating yesterday in a light cotton dress and sandals. I passed a man in trousers, boots and a thick puffa jacket with the hood up. His face was absolutely pouring sweat so he clearly was hot, no idea what that was about.

Some people handle heat better, also a thin shawl/cardigan protects the skin and can help cool you as well.

I must have some Geordie somewhere in the family because I'm perfectly fine in the cold when people are complaining, and rarely wear a coat

I can't bear this heat. But I have noticed people in clothes which seem odd for the weather and I think it's mostly down to them wanting to hide parts of their body they dislike. I used to comment on it then one day I realised how uncomfortable it would be for the other person. I guess people have their own reasons.

Y husband is still sleeping with his jammies on and underneath a duvet. I think he is made of asbestos
