During the hose pipe ban.? There was so many during lockdown I can imagine some people with their ear to the wall timing neighbours showers, counting flush pulling let alone using a hosepipe.

Don't get me wrong I understand the need for one and I do think it should be followed but I don't personally think its something I would report.

I’d rather not shower for a fortnight than watch my gorgeous plants wither away and die.

Indeed but they'll be screaming blue murder if they see someone so much as watering a vegetable patch.

Water is a precious resource and yet you have people on here who waste gallons of it by washing bedding and towels after one fecking use, to say nothing of all the detergent chemicals they are merrily sending into the waterways and the power being used and the knock on effect of that.

Indeed. I regularly have a swarm of easily over a hundred bees buzzing around my garden because I plant things that I know they love. Would also be incredibly wasteful to let all of my fruit plants/ trees wither.

No new reservoirs have been built in the UK for 30 years. That is the problem. Not gardeners providing wonderful and much needed places for wildlife to thrive.
