Evian is the best bottled water

Everyone I know disagrees but Evian water just tastes different and better to water from other brands and tap water. It’s just the best isn’t it?! Will drink tap water and other brands of bottled water but don’t like them as much

YANBU, Evian is definitely the nicest. I like San Pellegrino sparkling too, or Perrier when you can get it.

But - and I’m sorry that this is not very environmentally friendly - water out of a can as some places are now doing tastes palpably worse. But I think coke, Fanta etc tastes better out of a can than a (plastic) bottle. What’s that about?!

@DelisButAlsoCrime yes! my work sell water only in cans which is rank. If I have to have a soft drink a can is so much nicer than a bottle!

Evian is the only water I dislike. It tastes differently to other waters, you're right - and not in a good way.

I don' t like Evian, would chose Highland Spring or Carpatica.

I prefer sparking and have a soda stream so it's mostly Thames Water's finest but it's fine if it's cold. If I am buying sparkling, Perrier, from a can is the best,

YABU. Acqua Panna is the best.

I love Evian but I don't drink it as it's too harmful to the environment.

From time to time, if I'm at a restaurant and a friend has ordered Evian and not finished the bottle, I'll swig it and it's totally delicious!

At home I have a filter attached to my tap. Out and about I ask for tap water only.

What I really want is an Evian tap in my kitchen.

Fiji water for me! Definitely tastes the best.

I read about this, the water we prefer depends on our salivas composition so different people like different types.

I recently bought a soda stream to cut down on plastic because I mostly drink sparkling water. Although there's a deposit on all plastic bottles here so they have to be returned to the shops it's obviously better to not use the plastic in the first place.

I don't buy bottled water any more, but when I did it was Smart Water or nothing. Smoooooth.

As a PP said, Smart Water is actually processed rubbish (obviously people might like the taste though).

I have interstitial cystitis and am, therefore, someone with a valid, medical reason for drinking bottled water. With IC, not all water is equal - including bottled mineral water! Bizarre, I know.

I bought a Berkey filter for my nasty, hard tap water (don’t love the taste but was trying to be more green) but I have a lot more flares since I started using it and may have to go back to drinking Evian on the bad days.

Strathmore, no debate. And for those of you who haven't tried it, you have to!
