Shameless traffic post, although I figured others could benefit!

I'm South based but happy to travel, and happy to spend a bit on somewhere really special and utterly relaxing!

Chewton Glen
Nirvana is nice, bit cheaper as well

Cockerwalk · 11/08/2022 20:32

Came on to say Chewton Glen too!

CanYouMakeMe · 11/08/2022 20:34

Calcot Manor.

TeddyTonks · 11/08/2022 20:37

Ragdale Hall, but probably a bit far for you.

Shouldhavebutdidnt · 11/08/2022 20:39

Lime wood in Lyndhurst, New Forest
Amazing spa & afternoon tea to die for!

ShrillSiren22 · 11/08/2022 20:40

Chewton Glen is always lovely. Boringdon Hall near Plymouth is great and fab restaurant attached too. Is there any particular aspect that you’re looking for? City, countryside, treatments, with rooms, with restaurant etc?

sittingonacornflake · 11/08/2022 20:41

The scarlet. Best ever.

LakieLady · 11/08/2022 20:43

Poppinghole Farm, near Robertsbridge in East Sussex, is lovely, and a bit different.

USaYwHatNow · 11/08/2022 20:43

Nirvana Spa in Wokingham hands down all day everyday 😂

Llamasally · 11/08/2022 20:44

Following!

wibblewobbleball · 11/08/2022 20:45

So interested in these replies, I always find spas disappointing so would be keen to visit one genuinely awesome!

AnotherDelphinium · 11/08/2022 20:46

Ragdale Hall by a long way.

Nirvana is also nice, as are the Center Parcs spas. Was a bit disappointed with Lime Wood, hotel was lovely but spa was underwhelming.

GarlandsinGreece · 11/08/2022 20:52

Lucknam Park has a wonderful spa. Also, fantastic chips 😁

Pennyhill Park is spendy but wonderful. Didn’t rate Stoke Park at all though.

Jaggerdagger · 11/08/2022 20:57

In terms of what I'm into...

Amazing massages (love a facial too), outdoor pools and jacuzzis are lovely, really comfy loungers, calm and tranquil but spacious, maybe a view? I'm not actually that fussy and very happy to try something on recommendation rather than stick to a list of "must haves"!

Ragdale Hall.
Eden Hall.

Jaggerdagger · 11/08/2022 20:57

I'm going to be spending the rest of my evening Googling all of your fabulous recommendations. Keep 'em coming!

Calcot Manor.

Been there! Loved it.

Has anyone tried Sopwell House?

OP posts:
Bluub · 11/08/2022 20:59

Bath Spa in the evening or early in the morning

whiteroseredrose · 11/08/2022 21:05

Ragdale Hall from me too.

Loulou2202 · 11/08/2022 21:15

Sopwell House, recently had a huge refurb. I haven’t been since it’s been done but had been before it was done and it was lovely so I imagine it’s even better now. It’s quite expensive imo but if you can afford it it looks to be quite the relaxing experience

stockpilingallthecheese · 11/08/2022 21:25

I love the center parcs spas with all their different rooms! Could definitely do with more pools/jacuzzis though, whereas nirvana I find is too many pools and not enough rooms, so depends what you like Smile was really disappointed by Champneys.

2000waslastyear · 11/08/2022 21:26

£1,000 per night and the rest, I have the money now but how is it actually worth it, what would I expect?

Seymour5 · 11/08/2022 21:29

Another vote for Ragdale Hall. Can’t wait for our next visit!
