To ask why you're awake?

I can't sleep. I'm really tired but I'm having heart palpitations which is not usual for me and it's making me unsettled and keeping me awake. Normally i could fall asleep on a clothes line!

Baby will be awake at 6am and I'm not sure I can manage a full day of parenting on a couple of hours sleep! But that's a problem for tomorrow I guess.

So what's everyone else's middle of the night story?

3yo's duvet fell off on 45 mins ago and she shouted to me to come and pick it up my brain thinks that's it for the night even though I had insomnia after DH crashed in at 1am

cat meowing. He's demanding food at 4-5pm. Pillock.

Been awake since 4. Menopause

I seem to have ended up waking at 4am every day ☹️, no particular reason.
By 7pm I will be knackered 😄

Gall bladder pain. It was bloody agony, but I took a codeine about half an hour ago and it's easing off now, so will soon go back to bed.

This is my second attack in 3 or 4 weeks. I'd been hoping it was a one-off but I guess I'm going to have to speak to the doctor about it and see what they suggest.

My 6 year old ASD DS thought 5am was a perfectly reasonable time to wake this morning. He's woke full of beans, thus waking his sister and I. He and I co-sleep so once he's awake so am I.

I am meeting some pals for tapas and drinks tonight, I'll be making my excuses to leave early!
