To expect knickers to last

Just that really.
I'm quite tight careful with money.
Invested in 12 pairs of super-comfy M&S knickers last year and 4 of them have developed holes where some seams meet - it's the same place on all of them so obviously a manufacturing flaw.

I wash them on a fairly low temp with other soft things, hang them to dry, and am not doing any strenuous activity in them.

AIBU to expect them to last more than a year? 😁

I tried that but persil bio does NOT get whites properly white at 30.

Everything else is washed at 30 on a 35 min wash. Just not whites. Hottest wash possible.

My knickers never die. I have Thunder Pants. Wash at 30. Only ever had one pair where the seam stiching thread came loose, so I presume that was just one poorly constructed pair.
