Please somebody save me from clawing the very last bits of skin from my legs Shock

20-ish bites across both calves and feet. From Tuesday night. Very allergic, each one is now a raised welt around two inches in diameter. Itching to the point of distraction, I can't even think about anything else.

I'm on prescription Fenofexadine, and have tried every cream in the house, from aloe vera to calamine, hydrocortisone to antiseptic, eczema relief to after sun, and now prescription steroid cream.

Nothing helps, and I don't even know how to try and do anything else but itch, but have a full day of work and kids on holidays in front of me. I can't bear it!

Please please tell me some magic cures before I ruin my legs forever?

Another quick update after another round of bites even with repellent on...

@weeder recommended Fenistil Gel which I ordered from Amazon.

It's definitely more effective for me than any other cream / gel / ointment recommended on here so far; and I've tried every one multiple times.

Had high hopes for the Bicarbonate paste but made no difference sadly.

Which repellent did you use, just out of interest?

Banana skin. Rub the bites with the inside of a banana skin. Repeat as often as possible.😘

Glad the Fenistil is doing the trick - it’s great stuff.

@Shinyandnew1 I was using Jungle Formula Max, but apparently that only makes me more attractive to the flying bastards Grin

Have now got Odomos as recommended above, and will report back on results if people want to know!

This looks like it couldn't possibly work, but you need one of these: www.amazon.co.uk/Bite-Thing-Suction-Poison-Remover/dp/B01576DWQU/ref=sr_1_4

My husband bought me one and I thought it was ridiculous but it does actually work. Mosquitos think I'm the most delicious thing ever and I get huge welts. This works when you use it asap after being stung, but I also find it helpful for older bites that start itching again.
