UC cost of living payment

I hope I can post this here.

We claim a top up of UC as my DP’s wage is low and I’m registered disabled.

We are eligible for the cost of living payment as I’ve checked and double checked the criteria.
But my payment still hasn’t gone in…most people I know who are on UC have received it.

I know I’m fortunate to be getting it at all, but the not knowing when I’ll get, if at all, it is really stressful 🙁

Hope this doesn’t offend anyone. I’m becoming obsessed with checking my bank account. But still nothing showing.

I don't think it's fair to belittle people who are asking when the payment is due. Yes it's by 31st July, but if you're desperate for the extra money and others have already received it, it's only natural to question when it will arrive.
The cost of living has risen massively, so that may factor and this affects some more than others.

HSBC also shows pending for next day.

Mines come in this morning. I'm on UC and carers allowance and dh is on PIP. Surname begins with D. I must admit its very welcome. Hope everyone waiting gets theirs soon.

Nice for people to announce we shouldn't rely on it. Good that you guys don't have to. OP hope you'll have it on the next couple of days. Mine isn't due til 'the Autumn' whatever that means so til then I'll just have to struggle on but a struggle it will be, really hard to get through the holidays and buy new uniform etc. Normally I'd have been spending less on fuel for work, food, utilities etc so would have more spare money for these things.

There's also 2 people in a joint claim, so which NI number or last name would they be looking at? (I know not everyone is on a joint claim, but for those that are).

They'll pay it to whoever gets the universal credit payment on a joint claim

If you get uc you will get the payment, simple as that.

Did you get it today? If not, may I ask what the letter is at the end of your National Insurance number? That may give a clue as to when to expect it
