Naturist beach

So my DH has always been more free and easy about nudity than me, and recently suggested we visit a naturist beach.

I'm not sure about everyone needing to see my bits, but he's quite keen!

What do you think, has anyone else been to a naturist beach? How was it?

Some of the responses since my original comment seem to support my view of not trying it in the UK.

It’s a very weird thing to do. I always imagine those doing it get some sort of cheap thrill. Yuck.

I've been to some on holiday and kept my bikini bottoms on.
The ones I've been to have been quiet, out of the way and honestly I've found them more chilled out and less pervy than other, more busy beaches.

I'd not do it in the UK though.
