To think it is wrong to smoke and breastfeed?

Yeah she's absolutely wrong. But she shouldn't stop breastfeeding.

Yep every source I've read says it's better to breastfeed and smoke than to smoke and formula feed. Obviously ideally no one would smoke when they have a baby at all, but if the smoking is going to happen regardless then it seems breastfeeding is still preferable.

The thinking that 'If I breastfeed then it's perfectly safe/fine to smoke' is warped though.

Her baby is also terribly colicky and unsettled, constant chest infections etc but she still doesn’t question it?
