Towel folding

Doing the rounds at the moment on the perfect way to fold towels.

Why are woman made to feel that this is something they should be doing to run the perfect household? When your time could be better spent drinking gin or running a company?

Any other waste of time activities that keep woman busy? Arty present wrapping is another one!

Who gives a fuck about folding towels?

actually i did a good job, but mostly i just fold them neatly and leave them on ds1s bed (its also used as a guest room) or leave them in dds and ds2s room as they can sort the towels themselves

I have seen how elephants fold towels, and frankly, it is nothing to boast about.

Where did I say it was impressive? 🤔

I just don't understand why making money/a living out of cleaning is any worse than making money out of candles, music, books or food?

Is it because it's traditionally "women's work" so you look down on it?

I couldn't agree more. I fold mine in half, fold in half again and put in cupboard, takes 30 seconds.

I fold my towels in to squares, or roll them up depending on the size / where i'm putting them. Why would i waste time and effort on fancy folding that my DP won't even notice when he grabs a towel for a shower?!
Proper napkins folded into swans when we have guests on the other hand.........
