Career, kids, good marriage, happiness?

I would love to have all these at the same time.

I’m in my early 30’s so all of a sudden started worrying about things I may come to regret.

is there anything you would go back and chan he if you could?

feel like I have been through so much in the last 3 years I feel like I am now a completely different person.

First of all, you are still so young.
Secondly, hindsight is a wonderful thing. There will always be things you would have done differently. I try not to focus on the past too much as it takes you away from the present.

Back to your original post, some people do have it all. But a lot of people will SEEM to have it all. The ultimate goal is the 4th one - happiness. Happiness comes in all shapes and sizes and doesn't have to mean a marriage or kids, or a career etc.

A good way to appreciate your own life more and to stop comparing is to not be on social media. I don't have many social media accounts, and I rarely use the ones that I do have. People will always post their best. You never know what actually goes on behind closed doors.

I have career, one kid (would have liked more), divorce and happiness.

I'm ok with my lot!

A family member of mine looks like they have all if these things too, I know them very well and I'm very close to them and a lot of people would be shocked to learn the lack of happiness they actually have. Own successful business, 5 beautiful children, happy marriage but they are in therapy.

I know someone like this. Gorgeous and successful kids, adoring husband, lots of money, close family and friends. Both her and her husband in very high earning jobs but which are also flexible.
Just life I think. Hard as it can be when you don't have the same thing

As others have written, some people DO have it all, but that doesn’t mean they are happy. One thing’s for sure, I’d rather not tick a single box but be happy than tick them all and suffer from depression. What really counts is happiness. And if not happiness, then at least contentment/peace.

Also, nothing lasts. The wheel of fortune turns. In fact, the more you have, the more you’ve got to lose. If I was rich, and lived in my dream home, I’d be terrified of someone taking it away. I never envy those who’ve got it all. I envy people with cheerful, resilient personalities.

I feel extremely lucky to have the life I have. Life hasn't been easy, but yet I feel lucky. But is it the life I really want?
