Shocking antisocial behaviour 10yos

NC as I give way too much away.

Today I was walking in a park with a pond. 4 boys around 10yo were throwing in the lifesaving rings in the pond and shouting and swearing.

As I walked past I asked them to stop and was met with a barrage of abusive language (f word) and called a Karen for interfering.

I said I would be reporting that the life rings had been removed and that it could be their brother, sister or cousin who fell in and needed help. They continued so I took a picture of them throwing in the rings. They then came up and told me to delete the picture as they didn't give their consent and they would be phoning the police. I walked away and they threw a bottle of water at me and continued shouting and removing more rings.

I reported it via 101 but fuck me - how are 10 years old so fucking brazen and bold with their behaviour?!

There are many knowing 'their rights' and not giving a shit about other people rights. Yes - shit parenting. Some kids question and challenge every authority figure they come across - teachers, other adults and police. They get it from their parents sadly.

Last year I saw a man smack a little shit on the head after he warned them not to kick peoples wing mirrors in which a couple of wing mirrors were left hanging by the thread and the rest were smashed on to the ground. The man told them stop, the group went all gobby and tried it on the man's Audi and before attempting to kick the wing mirror on the man's Audi, the man smacked the little shit on the head. Que to crying and shouting abuse "im gonna fuck you up bro, you watch man". The man started chasing the kids and of course they disappeared shitting themselves. The road has been quiet since.

I remember sitting just outside my work one night
bloke came through the drive thou, drove round and a group of kids just came out of nowhere, nutted the guys side driver window-smashing it
ive never seen anything like it-the bloke got out and just punched the kid in the face-blood everywhere
of course the kid burst into tears while his mates where screaming about the police and how they where going to ‘smash him up’
the bloke just got back in his car and drove off-all the kids mates chasing him
i cheered inwards-this kid had been a thorn in my side for months-swearing,stealing,threatening and just being a little fucker-he bloody deserved it

the police did nothing

If they called you Karen, they’ll be 12+

Nope. We've had to address the use of the word Karen with our year 5 and 6s, so ten and 11 year olds.

Sadly, this is true, my DD1 (13) started using that meme around 2 years ago, much to my chagrin. I asked her how she would feel if it was her name being used in that way, which appears to have got through to her, as she’s stopped using it for the moment.
