If it got lost, stolen or broken?!
I don't mean the really practical things, such as the kettle or your bed.
But a non-essential item that you would struggle to be without.
Mine would have to be my Oodie. I got an actual branded one from Vinted and couldn't be more in love with it.
Even in summer, it comes in handy in a Scottish basement flat!
So what's yours?

I've recently moved to a house that as no dishwasher. The kids think we're back in the 70s, DH hates washing up constantly, we've lasted 4 months and the new one arrives next week.

My other item would be our bean to cup coffee machine. I don't drink a lot of coffee but I HAVE to have one every morning to get my brain in gear.

Coastalcreeksider · 17/06/2022 07:48

Hairdryer!

My hair is really fine but quite thick, without being blowdried within an inch of its life, it would look horrendous as it has a natural wave, more pronounced on the left hand side.

Coffee...all the coffee.
Having the gift of books and being able to read.
And my prolapse cushion.

Gazelda · 17/06/2022 07:53

The lovely bras I've found that fit like a glove.

I'd be absolutely distraught to have to wear ill fitting underwear while trying to find the holy grail of bras again.

SquirrelFan · 17/06/2022 08:01

@SpiderVersed what do you mean by keyholder? I'm intrigued! Like a secret 'rock' outside, or a hook in the hall...?
@Gazelda please reveal the name of these comfy bras!

MissMatty2hats · 17/06/2022 08:10

My ember mug and my Airwrap. I used to be a mug obsessive, have at least fifty mugs in the cupboard. Since I got my ember mug I haven’t been unfaithful to it once, not even with Emma Bridgewater or Nicholas Mosse and I loved those guys!

Shoxfordian · 17/06/2022 08:11

The coffee machine - need my morning coffee

HairyMcLarie · 17/06/2022 08:12

The dog.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 17/06/2022 08:12

Kindle and hair straighteners. I have a cheap pair I bought once because I forgot mine when going away and I keep them on standby.

yousexybugger · 17/06/2022 08:14

Blue light glasses, hada labo gel, cloud nine curling wand

SpiderVersed · 17/06/2022 09:16

@SquirrelFan - the key ring is a little bird and it clips into its birdhouse. So the keys are always where I need them. And it’s cute.

Hairdryer
Dishwasher

If our robot lawnmower broke it would be replaced immediately - it has made such a difference not having to spend an hour and a half mowing the lawn every 3-4 days for 9 months of the year....... and the grass is so much better as it mulches and feeds the grass at the same time.
absolute joy not having to think about the chore of mowing especially when its lovely weather - can go home and just sit in the garden.

onemouseplace · 17/06/2022 10:06

Hair straighteners - I have actually had to do this before when I left them in a hotel I'd been staying at in Yorkshire. The owner was lovely and posted them to me (about a month later) but I ordered some new ones the moment I realised I'd left them there.

Summerofcontent · 17/06/2022 10:32

A watch.

At the moment I have a smart watch but any watch, as long as it's analogue, would do

northbacchus · 17/06/2022 10:41

Phone, fitness watch, dishwasher, instant pot

FlipFlopShopInHawaii · 17/06/2022 10:49

My Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Love my morning cappuccino 😁

Fairislefandango · 17/06/2022 10:53

Phone
Extensive tea collection
Yarn and knitting needles (unlikely to have to replace those as I have shedloads of both)

icelollycraving · 17/06/2022 10:55

Phone, straighteners and makeup. I look like a potato without makeup.

Desmondo2021 · 17/06/2022 10:56

Running Trainers is about the only thing I would run straight out to replace.

Although many years ago my GHDs packed up halfway through doing my hair and I went straight out, drove 20 minutes each way to replace them and then finished doing my hair! These days they would be a prompt replace but not necessarily a same day one.

MissAmbrosia · 17/06/2022 10:58
