I can’t physically eat leftovers

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I physically cannot force myself to eat leftovers.

I always have the best intentions of meal prepping/cooking more for lunches and then when it gets down to actually eating that stuff it turns my stomach. I end up having to give extra to DH.

Does anyone else get this or am I completely U and weird?!

The hell it’s not a sensory issue. It was verified by my doctors that my aversion to leftovers is due to sensory processing disorder, and that has been verified by many medical professionals.

Yeah I can’t bring myself to put anything in my mouth that’s been 3 days + in the fridge. For me is psychological; no idea how to overcome it

I'm the same OP. I'd rather go without eating

Wrong,When it comes to addressing picky eating in autism, it's crucial to understand the sensory considerations that individuals with autism may face. Sensory processing challenges can significantly impact a child's relationship with food and mealtimes. By recognizing and addressing these issues, we can make mealtime more comfortable and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Picky Eating and Autism

Kids with autism can be extremely picky when it comes to eating.  An estimated 46–89% of children with autism have feeding problems.
