Good God some people will sell anything to make money. 🤮

TonyBlairsLover · 28/05/2022 15:24

If it was Tony’s spunk then I’d buy it

Maytodecember · 28/05/2022 16:16

But on the upside no one died mining it.
On the downside Eeeruuuwwww.

Omg. I now have visions of has-been celebrities selling jewellery made with their own body fluids to make money, as well as doing short crappy videos ....

MissFancyDay · 28/05/2022 16:28

Maybe for sex magic

2LitreBottle · 28/05/2022 16:32

To quote a post I saw on here once upon a time - it’s semen not bin juice. And it’s not only gay men for whom semen is “a thing” - shock horror some women like it too, as we’re biologically programmed to want it!

I’m always amazed at how many women on here seem to think it’s gross and disgusting, likening it to snot or poo, and yet when you’re desperate for a baby you’ll be begging your OH to give it to you!

I still wouldn’t want to wear it around my neck, but then I wouldn’t want ashes, breast milk, blood or indeed most jewellery, so I’m not the target market.

I read your comment then saw your username 🤣

Can you imagine men who have these made as a memento of their youth or something?

Some of them will become grandparents and one day they will pass away.

So the conversation goes like this:

"I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your grandfather"
"Thank you. We will miss him very much"
"That's a nice ring you're wearing!"
"Yeah it was my Grandad's. We found it in his drawer after he passed"
"What is it? Pearl?"
"No, it's his spunk"
😵‍💫

Passing down Nana’s engagement ring may not be quite so popular either Grin

Yes, giving it to you but not in jewellery form because that's not going to result in a baby...

flapjackfairy · 28/05/2022 13:33

and am I reading it right? Placenta and embryo jewelry. What !

I wouldn't want it personally but when someone has had a miscarriage or an early stillbirth it might be all they have of them.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 28/05/2022 19:51

Not really. Humans are biologically programmed to want to reproduce, but that doesn't manifest as a fixation with semen. If you saw a puddle of it in the road, you wouldn't come over all Dracula and start lapping at it.

Yet when you’re desperate for a baby you’ll be begging your OH to give it to you

I have literally never begged my DH to give me his semen. Are we doing sex wrong Sad

It’s been a brilliant read on Mumsnet today with threads like this!! 🤣😂. Thank you for sharing.

After reading your comment I went to browse Facebook and found this on my news feed. I'm slightly disturbed by their algorithms.

The next thing has got to be 'send us your first fart of the morning in an airtight jar and we will blend it into a unique perfume to give to your loved one'.

Avon made an aftershave called 'Windjammer' at one point, so I suppose 'Cheesecutter' is its natural descendant. Or maybe 'Anal number 5'.

DockOTheBay · 28/05/2022 20:15

I'm thinking - maybe gay couples for whom semen is a 'thing'?
Why would it be a "thing" for a gay man any more than a straight woman?

I'm also grossed out by the idea of blood or placenta jewellery.

Dr Alan Statham was ahead of his time, clearly.

My first thought too!
