To take an 11 year old to a rock concert

I was a lot older when I went to my first concert and it was a relatively small venue.

My 11 year old wants to attend an arena rock concert (hard rock) with me (and I have a spare ticket) but I'm a little worried he may be a bit young, would you take an 11 year old to a rock concert?

No issue with him going, but be aware , seated floor tickets are awful at concerts as everyone stands up and generally you can see bigger all if you're short. It's not like when it's usual standing tickets and you can move around to get a view, you have to stand where your seat is. And for this reason if you put him on your shoulders for a view it's incredibly unfair on the people behind you as they can't move to adapt their view.

I've learnt the hard way... never floor seating for a music concert!! Always get side tickets where at least you're on a slope!

The only time I've ever seen any aggro at a concert was at a Steps one - very aggressive man shoving people out of his way and called me a slag 😆

"Leave it out, H, she's not worth it..."

I saw Led Zeppelin when I was about 11, I dont remember if I loved or hated the experience, but it is great to be able to tell that now. Let him go.
