Just that really I can't think of a single thing

Ask her, we have no idea what she'd like.

WorriedMum13 · 21/05/2022 11:46

A night away for some peace and quietSmile

Chichz · 21/05/2022 11:52

Along the same vein as PP, I was thinking a lovely spa day! 😊

Night away might be a bit tricky especially if BF. You need a bit more info I think! X

Footballsundays6777 · 21/05/2022 11:54

Everything I’d normally want, fancy gin, perfume , earrings.

maybe a day of shopping to yourself?

DeanStockwelllsBunny · 21/05/2022 11:59

Is it your birthday or someone else's?

If it was me and I had a family member that could look after the DCs I would like to go out for a evening meal and a night in a hotel with my DH .

Sswhinesthebest · 21/05/2022 12:00

Definitely a break away from the kids, with friends, or dh if you can get a babysitter.

Beachbabe1 · 21/05/2022 12:03

Babysitter and hotel break!!

nomistake · 21/05/2022 12:05

A night off - hotel or something. Or if that can't be done then a massage a nice dinner.

Needmorelego · 21/05/2022 12:09

What did you enjoy doing before children came along?
Even as far back as your childhood. Did you have a particular interest or hobby that has been abandoned along the way of life and you'd quite like it to get into it again.
(My user name might give you a hint as to what I mean)

A beautiful silk kimono/dressing gown, I've been covering this for ages;

A night in a hotel with babysitter already arranged

A night at a comedy venue/theatre with drinks booked beforehand

A spa day with afternoon tea

I'd also be covering some Harry Potter Lego but that's just me Blush

Amigoingmad29weeks · 21/05/2022 12:16

Depends! I am 34, have a toddler and a baby. And an older child. A spa day sounds ace but my baby is under 6 months and ebf so not practical. Same for dinner out. An afternoon tea I could take baby to would be good. Vouchers for clothes maybe as I'm currently inbetween maternity and my normal clothes. Or a pamper basket with lots of little bits in for me to use whenever I catch a minute.

GiltEdges · 21/05/2022 12:17

Probably an offer of babysitting and a night out for drinks/dinner.

MargosKaftan · 21/05/2022 12:21

For yourself or someone else?

A nice purse. Change bag is your handbag at this time of life, but the purse that's taken out can be nice.

A nice pair of stud earrings (prime age for kids pulling at dangley earrings, stud earrings at this stage.)

Id quite like a new kindle as mine is on its last legs.

BeyondMyWits · 21/05/2022 12:22

A nice new waterproof coat and wellies.

DifficultBloodyWoman · 21/05/2022 12:23

A babysitter.

ThettaReddast · 21/05/2022 12:26

Time out, lunch and a massage or something like that, with babysitting part of the deal.

Crispynoodle · 21/05/2022 14:30

Thank you everyone it's for my daughter, she lives too far away for babysitting and we're going for a spa day next month when she's coming to visit

I would want a night away alone, in a hotel somewhere, providing she can get childcare, obviously.,

actiongirl1978 · 21/05/2022 14:43

When my children were that age, my favourite treat was a shopping trip entirely alone to my nearest lovely city and then afterwards I wouldn't pay the parking ticket straight away, I'd sit in the car and sleep for an hour without the chance of a child waking me up. Bliss.

actiongirl1978 · 21/05/2022 14:44

I wouldn't want anything that involves being out at night as I'd prefer to be in bed instead!

Greearine · 21/05/2022 14:45

I’m similar age with small children and would want a voucher for somewhere like Next as I never have enough disposable income to buy myself clothes!

Greearine · 21/05/2022 14:47

Also to add this is what my mum tends to gets me and I always look forward to my shopping trip!

motogirl · 21/05/2022 14:50

A shopping experience trip - John Lewis do them (you pay but get the value in vouchers I think, it's how it used to work)

Velvian · 21/05/2022 14:51

A good stylish waterproof coat and new trainers.

A weekend bag and backpack handbag.

Sunglasses, Jeans and nice sweatshirt.

BanditBluey · 21/05/2022 14:51

I'm 32, baby and toddler. It's also my birthday soon. I've got a hotel Chocolat hamper (£40) some new wax melts (£50) other things I'd love would be vouchers for a clothes shop or a restaurant, bottle of flavoured gin or vodka, audible membership gift card, voucher for Schuh,
