Toddler drinking beer

Prepared to be told I’m being a bit stuck up/boring/over the top, but I’m really not sure

Friend posted pics of lovely photos on hol with her guy and his toddler or his grandchild toddler. They took photos & a video of him letting her drink his beer. She pulled for it about three times and had a good old gulp each time, not sips. They then joked how that’s how she slept all night.

I suppose it’s quite funny, it was just three big drinks, I was a bit 😮

Are you sure they had alcohol in? Were they weak shandies?

When ds was about 18 months he had a couple of sips on my shandy (probably 2% alcohol strength max) to taste it! Literally sips. He's 10 now and all is well! Mostly I drink alcohol free shandy so if that was me on Facebook I might have made a joke and not bothered to mention (it's alcohol free btw!!)

Posted more! This time toddler dipping fingers in top of beer bit and eating the foam part, cue laughter. Not *as bad, but, stop having the baby around alcohol like that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Is your friend Charlotte Dawson?

Not in the UK it's not - it's perfectly legal at home from the age of five.

I can't even imagine for a minute allowing my 6 year old a Smirnoff ice with his turkey dinosaurs...

@theyhavenothingbuttheaudacity my ex friend gave her 2 year old half a bottle of blue wkd! I did say ' you can't do that!' and she was so blasé about it! she was giving her 10 year old three bottles at a time. Social services were/ are involved. I've seen her in the pub with the older daughter who's now 15 both drinking double g&t's.
