That DH went for a swedish massage and ended up with a stiffy?

namechanged due to sheer embarrassment. The company he works for paid for all empoyees to visit a health club, this included use of the Gym, sauna, steam room etc, plus they could choose one treatment. He chose a sweedish massage. This is the first time he has had a massage and ended up having an errection . I feel really upset about it and I don't really know why. I know it's not the crime of the century but I guess it mean he was attracted to the therapist and she was 10+ years younger than me (according to him). GRRRRRRRRR .

that hasn't made me feel any better. Anyway, getting a stiffy in a nightclub is a bit different i suppose, i would be peed about that too.

yes very different! I'm sorry I wasn't trying to make you feel bad - I saw you had lots of reassurance about it already, which I agree with. And yes, I think that scenario was different. It was only supposed to be a laugh, I'm sorry if it caused offence.

Someone answered that earlier on- apparantley for a man it doesn't matter if the massuer is male or female . What I don't get is, how come men get turned on by a massage - by what it seems like from anyone - but women don't get turned on by having a massage by some random person - whether it be male or female?

if a man gets turned on you cant really hide the fact can you? but a woman doesnt have an obvious physical reaction, so how do you know women dont get turned on?

I can't speak for all women but if they're anything like me my mind is wandering on things like, are the kids ok, have i done this right etc etc, hence i can't relax. I admit i have got BIG problems when it comes to relaxing though.

So would you get turned on by a massage lou? whether it be male or female?

i have 2 massages a week and dont get turned on. however i do get woozy and/or irritable afterwards

i've had a few massages and i do find i'm really turned on after , male or female...

i don't think he would have told you if the reason he got a stiffy was because he wanted to shag that girl.

maybe he's tying to make you a bit jealous by telling you or he's embarassed and wants some reassurance that it's normal.

So what exactly are you turned on about? Could it be the hormones lisielou was on about? Or just the fact someone is touching you intimately? Whether it be male or female?

DH is out on the razz tonight but I will discuss this tomorrow with him.

We had a "joint" massage on holiday in Bali me on one massage tabe DH on the other. He had the same reaction poor chap it was his first massage and he was too embarrassed to turn over cue lots of frantic eyebrow raising to me to rescue him as I was the one that had insisted on the massage. I thought it was hilarious. They cant help it I really wouldnt worry!

HunnyIsABunny - FWIW I had no idea that it was so common to get a stiffy while being massaged until reading this thread, and if my DH had been stupid honest enough to tell me about it I would have been upset too.

I'm amazed at how depraved worldy-wise everyone is on this thread!

ummm... being touched by someone all over your body whilst being covered in oil turns me on i guess!

in the past, when i have been covered in oil and had someone rubbing their hands over me, it has lead to sex...

therefore, i feel turned on.

BUT, i don't want to sleep with the person massaging me.

Sorry, but I can't use my normal posting name for this - I was hoping that someone else would have said this!

I love having a massage (who wouldn't) - I'm female btw - and it is guaranteed to bring me to orgasm. With no dodgy touching of out of bounds parts of my body!

I can also experience the same with a facial.

And sometimes come close (sorry ) when they do a scalp massage when I'm having my hair washed prior to a cut.

Whilst having an orgasm is always a lovely experience, it is a bit difficult when it is through something as supposedly innocent as a massage, and I always worry that there will be something that gives it away to the masseuse.

Surely I can't be the only one?!

Don't worry hunny - my dp wouldn't tell me!! You can't be controlling about something out of his control - he was stupid to tell you she was so young and fit though - that was stupid. I do agree that he probably came back all horny and wanted you to jump him.
