Yes, it’s in bad taste. Yes, I feel awful. No, I can’t help it. And no this isn’t even something I’d flippantly call a lighthearted thread as that would be inappropriate. My only question is, am I the only one? I am genuinely curious.

People aren’t perfect. They live messy complex lives. That doesn’t mean we scorn at them when a terrible test faces them and they step up to it.
this man rose to the occasion, an occasion that hardly anyone in the world has to face, in a way we all know most wouldn’t. He could have fled, was offered a way out, but stayed to face conditions and pressure none of us can even begin to imagine. He stayed even though he faced near certain death. He stayed to lead and offer morale to his people. He stayed to beg the rest of the world for support.
And you sit there, in your armchai, and try to tear him down because ‘offshore investments’ . The poster who wrote that needs to take a good hard look at themselves.

He and the brother are amazing men. We need more like this in the world.

He's amazing but I'm scared to get too invested as the Russians would bomb/ poison/ shoot him at the first opportunity.

I love the fact that Zelenskyy only wears sweatshirts/combat/casual clothes, even when in formal settings with other leaders. I don't think the man has donned a suit since the war began. I find it endearing and yes, hot.
