Posting in AIBU for traffic!
Need to buy a few gifts for milestone teen birthdays & want them to be a surprise. Tiffany's is out of my price range.
Just wondering if Pandora & Nomination charm bracelets are still popular or would I be getting it horribly wrong?

I would be looking at Daniella Draper who do silver bangles you can have engraved, or Monica Vinader or Astrid & Miyu. Some people still love Pandora so if they do that’s great but I think it’s a lot less popular now than it was a few years ago.

Ask your daughter to look at the Soru website. 10% off if you subscribe.

I have both a pandora and a nomination. I wear nomination every day but my pandora is in a box upstairs for special occasions only as it isn't really comfortable for every day wear.

Hope you find something OP.

I'm leaning more towards the nomination right now bc I can buy it locally.
I think if it could be more for everyday wear that would be better.
I was tempted by the 3 for 2 on pandora but if its not going to be as practical that's not as good.

Thanks for sharing the other brands ladies some of them are in the UK (I am not) so I'd be worried about customs. I do appreciate you sharing them though x

My daughter had a Pandora bracelet she liked it but very rarely wears it. She also has quite small wrists so I think she feels a bit clunky on her.
Depending on budget and taste we got a ring and a bracelet (one for Christmas one for birthday) and she wears them everyday! We paid around £85 for each of them. It’s a bit different but she likes it!

My teens 18 and 16 adore pandora! They have charms every birthday and both have other bits from there too

This - all
my daughter has one and loves it

My 21 year old super trendy niece loves her Pandora bracelet. She doesn't give a shit that lots of her friends think they're 'uncool' or 'out' etc. She's had it since she was 16 and every charm means something to her.

I should have said, my Dsd has a
pandora as well as a nomination, she’s had it for a few years so I think some of the charms are a bit young for her now although she likes the sentimental value of them. She still likes Pandora and has one of the leather bracelets and a lovely ring from there that she wears as well as the nomination bracelet, I doubt you’d go far wrong with either I’m sure the recipients would be delighted (I know I would!) x

Eden I wonder where your dc got that idea from?

Purringcat3 · 07/05/2022 20:29

Nomination has never been popular where I am, it’s always been seen as “cheap”

Pandora still seems to be a thing for some. My daughter loves pandora

PinkiOcelot · 07/05/2022 20:37

Ahh you’ve reminded me I haven’t ordered the nomination charms for my dd’s birthdays.

To answer your question, both of my dds wear nomination bracelets and like them. One of them also has a Pandora. i also like my nomination bracelet.
