To think I am not the only one who has barely been on Mumsnet this weekend?

I am usually glue to the threads - Active, I'm On, Watching...

If I want an answer to a question, or a product review, anything from how to fix something or how to cook something or what TV to watch, I come on here to find it.

But the site in its present format is simply unworkable for me. I can't search key words, I can't see the photos, I lose track of threads.

I have probably spent ten minutes on here all weekend. AIBU to think I'm not the only one?

I found it really hard at first because of the cookies permission that popped up all the time. It seems that’s been resolved now so I think it’s ok; just the sizing of the screen is odd.

Bur I’ve not been on much this weekend because I’ve been busy in the garden!

I’m finding the lack of notifications really annoying. If I’ve posted on a thread it was good to get a notification that there were further posts. I don’t really understand why this function isn’t here anymore 🤔

Until the wonderful update I had the app on my ipad mini. As soon as the website changed, the app stopped working. Now I can only use this shitty website on my phone if I want to use MN so I'm now using MN less. It's probably a good thing for me to be honest!!

Absolutely. I’m assuming they can tell.
I’m going to cancel my Premium membership. I didn’t join for membership benefits. I joined to support the site during the pandemic because I use it a lot and enjoy it and would care if it wasn’t around. But I have stopped enjoying it so much that I have stopped using it.

I gave up with it a few days ago as it all seemed a total faff to do anything!

I have barely looked at mumsnet since the format update, maybe 10 minutes or so altogether. I think it’s really impersonal and ugly.

I actually like the new look. There's a couple of issues with functionality but I'm sure they'll get sorted.

I do think it's been a bit quieter on here over the weekend, it feels like there haven't been as many new threads.

Bookmarks are still not working so it's impossible to follow any threads. The smilies are half missing as well as being out of focus

I've noticed that quite a few threads have been deleted. I've been to look at 3 or 4 that I've been following recently, click on it and it says thread deleted with no reason as to why 🤷‍♀️

I have been on it quite a bit. But I agree it sucks big time. It's like a beta version of a new website (in 1999.) It's taking some getting used to, and what has happened to the fecking IMAGES?!

Bookmarking not working on the app is extremely frustrating, especially when following fast moving threads that are on 700 or so posts. 100 extra can be added between the times I read them and I have just given up!

I'm not getting used to all the white space and hardly any text. It's infuriating to have to constantly scroll. It looks so cheap with all the flashing and massive ads.

Yep it's annoying. Still can't get bookmarks to work. And threads I've commented on don't automatically go on watched anymore. I've even deleted the app and downloaded it again.
