You realise you haven’t seen certain usernames in a while…the ones who are usually on every thread with over 30 replies…and wonder where they are and if they’re ok!

I need to get out more 🤣

OP posts:

When you see someone out in public acting or dressed in a certain way and you avoid eye contact in case they recognise you from your anonymous username and vague information you share on threads Grin

jcyclops · 24/04/2022 16:42

You immediately recognise a thread as a zombie - before you open it.

sometimes it's a mix with me on those, usually I comment then it's oops

violetbunny · 24/04/2022 18:28

You tell people in real life, "You are not being unreasonable!"

FreezyFreezy · 24/04/2022 18:35

In any given situation you think, "What would mn do?" and do the opposite.

BarbaraofSeville · 24/04/2022 18:42

I haven't seen BikeRunSki for a while, but LtEveDallas popped up earlier today and that made me think I hadn't noticed her posting for ages.

Giraffesandbottoms · 24/04/2022 18:45

You accuse your three-year-old of gaslighting you when they refuse to eat the fishfingers and chips that were their favourite last week

HA!

for me it’s when something happens to me and I get the urge to make an AIBU post about it. Or at the very least thing about what I would post 😃🤦🏻‍♀️ There’s one I’m dying to do currently but it’s too outing. Shame

lightand · 24/04/2022 18:46

when..back in the day, 1 week I was the 2nd most posted poster for that week. oops.

Pashazade · 24/04/2022 19:02

You snort at something whilst staring at your iPad and your DH asks what's so funny on Mumsnet this time! Plus I agree with at least three of the previous posts......

Innocenta · 24/04/2022 19:31

My partner and I say YABU and YANBU aloud in real life Grin

These comments have killed me😂 they’re so accurate.

When I open a thread I always keep my eye out for @girlmom21 comments as she always comments exactly what I’m already thinking!😂 (i’ve name changed about 1000 times so you won’t know who I am but I’m always on the lookout for you haha) we’ve gotta be around the same age!

Ha that’s a pleasant surprise - I normally get people attacking me for my opinions Grin

I would love to know your previous username - there’s only one poster I can think you could possibly be, or maybe two, who I tend to share opinions with!

I’m 26!

Somanysocks · 24/04/2022 19:45

Talking of wondering where posters have gone, Madhugger was always posting, from Oz, I think. I was hoping she's ok.

When you really need the Hmm emoji for other things.

MotherOfCrocodiles · 24/04/2022 19:54

My GP referred to my DH in conversation and I didn't realise til later that this wasn't normal language. So that's both of us on here too much I guess.

When a stranger in the pub starts telling you that her husband left his wallet at home so she had to pay, and you respond with 'leave the bastard' Blush

Haha I know, I often see it😂 I’ve only been here since last summer and I must have had at least 5 different names, I don’t think you’d recognise me! I’m 23 so I’m sure there may be some similarities😁

moderntile · 24/04/2022 15:13

you almost refer to your husband as DH in real life.

I have done this before, was in conversation as said oh how is DH? Mortified.

Or someone bumps a Zombie thread and you read the OP and are already mentally composing your post, when you scroll down and see that you already wrote it 6 months/2 years/a decade ago.

Meatbadger · 24/04/2022 21:03

Speaking of wondering about posters I haven’t seen @worraliberty for a while - is she still about? She’s always pretty sensible
