To wonder if M&S uniform is worth it?

Just priced up for what my child needs, worked out as £130ish from M&S, and £66 from Asda George.
However if the Asda falls apart after a few months and we buy twice it will end up the same cost. But maybe it’s hard wearing?
I really don’t have any family with kids or any friends with school aged kids to ask!

YABU - Asda (or other supermarkets) are just as good
YANBU - M&S Uniform is worth the cost

We buy school dresses from M&S, all the other offer rings in yellow really fade, but the M&S ones bought at the same time are still lovely and vivid.

asda for everything else, as nowhere else stocks brown around here. Well, other than the logged cardigan, PE top and tie that come from the uniform shop.

In May/June ish M&S will do 20% off uniform.

Personally I don't think it's twice as superior as supermarket uniform. Not sure about Asda but can confirm Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys are fine. Sainsburys do 25% off clothing every couple of months or so.

In my experience M&S school uniform is very poor quality and not hard wearing at all. I’ve had far better from Asda & Sainsburys. Matalan are also very good for their uniforms.
