I need some ideas. Like medical shows, drama and thrillers.

Really? I have seen 3 eps and honestly think it's some kind of wind up....🙄

Iamblossom · 26/04/2022 19:26

talking about the woman across the road from the woman in the window

XelaM · 26/04/2022 19:32

Ozark is the best show on Netflix

nooo it's good if you realise it is a wind up - like Scary Movie

The Last Kingdom - started on BBC I think and moved to Netflix. I spent the first couple of seasons (I know!) thinking it wishes it was GOT but meh.

But I got really into it. It's well made - you tell Netflix have bigger budgets!) and historically fairly accurate. Funny too. Sucked me in for all 5 series.

The Witcher - again a bit of a slow burn but then excellent.

Just getting into Russian Doll - it's getting better as it goes on.

Sex Education - first 2 series are pure class and very funny.

biggreenhouse · 26/04/2022 19:55

The missing - season 2 . i had to binge it in 3 days as was so good.

Adm1010 · 26/04/2022 20:43

Just started Russian doll … enjoying it

random but I watched Glitch . Totally unbelievable but different to anything I’ve watched before

Mummadeze · 26/04/2022 20:46

Heartstoppers. Teen drama about a gay love story. Absolutely loved it, such a sweet story.

midsomermurderess · 26/04/2022 20:49

Occupied. It’s a Norwegian political thriller. In some ways it feels a bit prescient, it involves a Russian ‘invasion’. 3 series, so 2 still to go for me.

Needed this thread. Was going to cancel as not been able to find anything decent on there for months - last thing I watched was Archive 81 and it was SO dull. I miss when they had some decent boxsets of old shows and good horror films, everything seems to be their original content now and I can't be bothered as most of it is rubbish or if it's not it gets cancelled.

LisaSimpson73 · 26/04/2022 20:55

I've loved "the one" recently, I was disappointed that there was no season 2 though as it's left on a cliff hanger.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 26/04/2022 20:57

Another vote for Anatomy OAS
also Royal Pains

Elenorrigbywoes · 26/04/2022 20:58

I just finished The Missing with James Nesbitt in series one and series two is good too. I watched Bloodlands with James Nesbitt a few months ago and enjoyed it.
I watched Love Life over a few nights when I was on holidays - short episodes about someone's daring history - very easy watching.
I like crime dramas too and have enjoyed Marcella, Luther, Criminal UK, The Tunnel, The Chestnut Man and Whitehouse Farm.
I am looking for a good new series to binge so will be looking at some of the suggestions.

SlashBeef · 26/04/2022 20:59

Unbelievable - loved it.
Just started Russian Doll - bit confused but sticking with it because I love the lead actress.
Pieces of Her - meh, unsure. Shelving it for a bit.
IT Crowd - LOVE so rewatching
Tinder Swindler - brilliant

Also rewatching Black Books on there

BitOutOfPractice · 26/04/2022 20:59

I don’t care how you access it, on what platform. But you just watch “our flag means death” which, despite its title is the funniest, warmest programme I’ve watched in yonks.

Inventing Anna was great, I was so sad to come to the end!

Better call Saul is the best show I’ve ever seen. I am putting off starting the last series as it’ll then be over forever 😭

In Inventing Anna I couldn't stomach the pregnant journalist who couldn't act at all and the character is made up anyway.

And is Betrer Call Saul better than actual Breaking Bad or shows like Succession and Ozark? Because I tried the first episode and didn't like it. Maybe it gets better?

XelaM · 26/04/2022 21:27

All the Harlan Coben series are watchable

Smidge001 · 26/04/2022 21:52

Yes, Better call Saul is better than breaking bad. Definitely watch a couple more episodes of it. I'm also saving the last series coz I don't want it to be over!

TwoBigNoisyBoys · 26/04/2022 22:15

Place marking with interest!

Iwasjustasking · 26/04/2022 22:17

Queen of the south is the best programme I have ever watched on Netflix!
