24-30

iamsoreadyforbednow · 21/04/2022 15:43

Either mid teens, at my slimmest and made an effort with myself the most or, now at 26 with a 2 year old and a 3 weeks old. I’m the slimmest I’ve been since my late teens and generally dress better than I did back then, I had no idea what suited my body shape and some things I wore looked awful looks back 😂

VampireMoney · 21/04/2022 15:55

Now. I'm 45 and I've never looked better. I looked awful in my 20s because I had my kids young and I was always shattered. Perked you a bit early 30s then had my younger DC. Back to looking like a zombie. I started picking up again around 40 and I honestly feel like I'm in my prime now. Still have young DC but I appear to have way more energy and time than I did when I had my older ones! Which is weird. Skin is better, dress sense is better, and I'm way more confident than I've ever been. Long may this last!!

MurmuratingStarling · 21/04/2022 15:55

18 to 38. Those 20 years I was smokin,' and constantly got attention from men. (Sorry to sound braggy. Blush ) Always looked 6-7 years younger too (from mid 20s.)

Still not TOO awful looking by my early 40s, but I started to look my age, and gain a bit of weight. (2-3 stone that I have never lost since.)

By my late 40s I looked 3-4 years older... My age had finally caught up with me. Haven't attracted any male attention for about a decade now. (Currently mid-late 50s, although I only look my age now, and not 3-4 years older like I did in my late 40s.)

lemmein · 21/04/2022 16:01

Mid 30s to 40 - people used to be amazed that I was my adult DDs mother....they aren't anymore 😐

PinkArt · 21/04/2022 16:23

33, 34ish. I was at a great weight for me, my skin was in good nick, I'd found the hair style that works best for me. At 42 I'm a lot heavier than I was then but if I lose that (lots of people look great larger, I've tipped beyond that point during lockdowns though and know it doesn't look good) I don't think I look massively different to 10 years ago though so it's not like I fell off a cliff in my mid 30s!

dogaibu · 21/04/2022 16:34

My late twenties/early thirties. I still had a youthful face, my hair was lovely and I made an effort to curl it most days. I was 9.5st (admittedly this was major weightloss caused by divorce stress)

Now I'm 39. In 10 years I've been through a divorce, major personal stress, relationship issues, constant child custody issues, my nasty ex husband, health issues for me and ds11 and 3 family deaths. It shows on my face, I have a horrible frown line between my eyes, a permanently down turned mouth and I'm 13 stone due to comfort eating.

I hate how much I've let myself go. I know what I need to do but its so tough to find the motivation. Most days I just want to sleep them away.

zingally · 21/04/2022 17:04

Sort of now-ish!

I quit a very stressful job nearly 4 years ago, and it's transformed me! I put a bit of weight on (I needed to), take better care of myself, eat better, take more time to dress nice. And now I'm no longer hideously stressed, my smile reaches my eyes.

duvetdayforeveryone · 21/04/2022 17:05

I'm like wine... I only get better with age :)

That being said, I would not wear a bikini now I've had two children.

AlecTrevelyan006 · 21/04/2022 17:33

37

AngelsWithSilverWings · 21/04/2022 17:45

30 to 40 was when I felt my most attractive and confident. Lost the awkwardness and shyness of my 20s had more money to spend on nice clothes and makeup.

higherthanthat · 21/04/2022 17:48

39/40

higherthanthat · 21/04/2022 17:49

To the pp saying 'NOW', you do realise we don't know you or what age you are? Just saying 'I look great now' is only a meaningful sentence to you...

maddy68 · 21/04/2022 17:50

40-45

Pixies74 · 21/04/2022 17:52

Late 20s/early 30s.. Basically as a PP says, until I had DC1 at 33! Have always looked a lot younger than I am and at 39, still look younger, but I also look just generally tireder, skin is dull and my hair is thinner, less shiny and barely grows...

Pippster · 21/04/2022 18:07

The last couple of years - late 30s / early 40s. I found more joy in life and gained a lot of self confidence, which also lead to losing some excess weight and being more active

ParentalAdvisoryExplicitContent · 21/04/2022 18:11

I clarified mine in the post by saying I'm 45 Smile

DrCoconut · 21/04/2022 23:10

Looking back at old photos I'd say my late teens. I didn't realise it then though as I was always considered ugly at school. That said I didn't look my age until recently and now I look it and then some. My 40s have been an awful decade so far with a high-stress divorce, multiple health problems, covid pandemic etc and it shows. Now I seem to be adding peri menopause to the list of crap.

Notdoingthis · 21/04/2022 23:42

18-34

Daisydoo34 · 22/04/2022 10:45

Be honest, are my eye wrinkles bad? I know I’m smiling but still
