@BakedTattie

Depends where you are.

In Scotland we still have to isolate. I hate on here how everyone assumes the op is in England. There’s other places besides England

Kind of imperative that ops state that first, no one has a crystal ball to see where they are

Getting shopping delivered is expensive when you are on a tight budget, I stick to Lidl or Aldi these days so I would put a mask on, gel my hands, and go in the shop. I don't think its selfish OP.

Although it would be an English shop not a Scottish Welsh Irish or any other country shop Wink

Not always. Iceland do free delivery over a certain amount. Tesco & Asda have slots for £2 midweek

If you can get them.

But even if you don't mind paying the £2, their prices are more expensive so you can't get as much shopping as you can in Lidl or Aldi. And substitutions on a tight budget are tricky too.

I tested positive last week and it’s just me and my 12 year old daughter.

I was lucky as I had food in the fridge and freezer and use Deliveroo.
However my concern was cleaning my house so my daughter wouldn’t get it as I felt terrible for the first 24 hours and couldn’t do much.

Luckily she didn’t catch it and I am now negative.

But like other posters have said there are now NO restrictions in place so if you test positive here in the Uk you do NOT need to isolate so if you feel able to go out to buy Food and have nobody else to help you then you MUST do it.

No, not necessary. A clever poster has told us we are to assume England. That poster hates it when people can't grasp the make up of the UK
