Did Covid make you feel sick?

I’ve tested positive for Covid and my main symptom is nausea? I feel really sick and upset tummy. I have other symptoms like sore throat, blocked nose etc.

Anyone else?

Yes

Sahgah · 24/03/2022 20:12

Yes I had Nausea for a few days, one full day of non stop vomiting. I couldn’t keep anything down even water.

GremlinDolphin4 · 24/03/2022 20:12

I had it April 2020 and yes was very sick and felt nauseous for 5 days! Hope you feel better soon. Xx

Smokeahontas · 24/03/2022 20:12

Anyone I know who has had it in the last 7 - 10 days have reported V&D as their main symptoms.

Lanaa · 24/03/2022 20:22

Come on Michael sale girl

PeachCottonTree · 24/03/2022 20:28

I felt nauseous. Just the thought of my favourite foods put me off eating, even the week before I tested positive. If it wasn’t for DH bringing me food and encouraging me to eat I wouldn’t have bothered. I didn’t have any of the 3 main symptoms although track & trace tried to get me to say yes to having a cough on the phone, fairly sure she ticked yes anyway despite me saying no!

SkyeT · 24/03/2022 20:32

Nausea lasted two weeks for me Sad

AegonT · 24/03/2022 20:33

None of us had gastrointestinal symptoms with it. I felt like I had flu and the rest felt like they had colds. Worst symptoms were the cough and aches.

fizzyfood · 24/03/2022 20:34

I felt so sick for three days, it reminded me of morning sickness.

roseopose · 24/03/2022 20:38

Yeah I felt sick a lot, I finally tested negative on Tuesday after 9 days and still feel nauseous every evening. Very strange

Paleodiet · 24/03/2022 21:24

We have a case in the house just now. Very upset stomach.

Member984815 · 24/03/2022 21:28

No , I hardly new I had it . I had very mild cold symptoms I wouldn't have tested at all if nobody else had it in my household . Everyone else was pretty unwell for a few days but no nausea . Other people I know have had nausea and diarrhoea.

Candycats · 24/03/2022 21:35

Yes I'm just recovering from it and felt so sick all of Monday, barely ate anything as felt so sick. Felt much better Tuesday but by then my sense of taste had disappeared Sad

SpicePumpkin · 24/03/2022 21:43

Currently on day 3 and the nausea was my first symptom. Still have it. Plus dizzy ness, incredible fatigue, body aches and mild cold/flu symptoms. The worst part is the nausea and fatigue for me. I don't have a really bad cough but it's there every now and then and can be quite mucusy. I have a temperature but not constantly. It comes in waves along with the sickness and crippling fatigue.

JKDcot · 24/03/2022 22:03

The symptoms just come in waves. It’s horrible? I thought I felt better a few hours ago but I’ve taken a bad turn. It’s awful

Concestor · 24/03/2022 22:39

Yes I'm on day 12 and have felt sick every day so far. Along with headaches, horrible taste in mouth, and dizziness.

ForeverLooking · 24/03/2022 22:42

So sick and nauseous; the booster also made me throw up for an entire day. I felt dreadful!

Scbchl · 24/03/2022 22:45

First time in March 2020 I didn't, last month I did so so badly it was the worst symptom and my sister was the same a couple of weeks ago.

Justaboutawake · 24/03/2022 22:47

I completely lost my appetite and when trying to eat I’d want to vomit the minute I had a forkful of food in my mouth. Was awful. Survived for 6 days on small handfuls of popcorn and Doritos. Day 7 today and managed my first meal in over a week.

amy85 · 24/03/2022 22:50

I wish....I currently have it and seem to forever be hungry

First day of symptoms = day 0

Sarahlou252 · 24/03/2022 22:51

Yes, sick and dizzy.
I was after all three of my jabs too.

JKDcot · 24/03/2022 22:52

My son (2 years old) has it too but he seems mainly to be coughing. How did everyone’s children cope? Did they also get S&P?

D&V I mean. I really hope this doesn’t last for 12 days….

Webbedlife · 24/03/2022 22:54

I had covid March 2020 so was unvaccinated. Day 5 I had nausea and threw up, but at least I didn't have a fever anymore.
