OP posts:

@JayniSummers

I'll go I work in this team , the weirdest bunch of people , there's drama ALL THE TIME one female , think really glamourous type , hair never out of place , comes from a very naice rich family but takes ridiculous risks and flirts outrageously with another collegue who acts like the leader ( he isn't we are all peers) he's harmless enough bit too good looking for his own good .hes also a flirt but we think hes possibly in the closet... the worst in the team is a bloke who is a complete stoner , totally under the influence, does nothing but get the munchies , scruffy as hell, is allowed to bring his pathetic dog to work ....who has huge anxiety issues

Anyway , we drive round in a van , solving mysteries and shit.......

I live this one!
howardmoonseyebrow · 23/03/2022 21:14

A colleague once ate both the breakfast muffins if I’d left in the work kitchen . Fuming!

honeybeetheoneandonly · 23/03/2022 21:17

Someone ate my sandwich....MY SANDWICH

SpikyJugs · 23/03/2022 21:19

There's this really needy guy who shares my office, he keeps coming over and smiling at me when he wants attention. Then when he gets really bored, he actually climbs onto my lap. He did it the other day during a team meeting!

mumwon · 23/03/2022 21:31

Old story
My office is mobile(very mobile) & my boss is always having affairs with women he meets on our travels & is a totally sexist prat who thinks he is Gods gift to the universe -
the office is very mid sixties with females having to wear totally sexist costumes & working in pretty restricted roles. i have heard on newer ships things have changed. But I really fancy the next senior manager but he ignores me except for work - sigh what shall I do?

Hawkins001 · 23/03/2022 21:41

@HollowTalk

I don't understand the stoner story! Can someone explain?
It's scooby do, the cartoon
Hawkins001 · 23/03/2022 21:47

@BookkeeperBobby

I'd have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those BASTARD meddling kids.
Wayne's world ?

vipersnest1 · 23/03/2022 21:55

We have Buffy summers on speed dial, with the full moon
vipersnest1 · 23/03/2022 21:57

@OneFootintheRave, where I used to live, I used to see the 'Mystery Machine' driving around! And yes, it's true before anyone asks me, I'm not actually taking the piss now.

LondonQueen · 23/03/2022 22:01

Someone has "borrowed" my laptop charger and now it's dead and I can't use it. Thank god we use Google Drive so all my lesson plans are online!

I've seen the blues brothers police car being driven, presuming it was a replica

vipersnest1 · 23/03/2022 22:01

@Hawkins001 Grin

mnahmnah · 23/03/2022 22:04

Well the feeder tray on our photocopier isn’t working. It’s chaos, I tell you

howardmoonseyebrow · 23/03/2022 22:11

Also the charity sweet box was down a £5 when the man came to restock it. A staff member handed over the cash as he didn’t want the charity to go short - crisis averted.

ImInStealthMode · 23/03/2022 22:15

The good coffee ran out LAST WEEK. We've been promised fresh supplies since Friday. It's now Wednesday and we're still drinking the emergency cheapo Nescafé that comes in a massive catering can. At this stage it's basically a Human Rights violation.

Mummysgogetter · 23/03/2022 22:35

My boss keeps strumming her clitty and we keep walking in on her

NothingIsWrong · 23/03/2022 22:47

We all arrived one morning to find all our screens had been removed.

IT knew nothing. Our internal moves department knew nothing, but said they wouldn't have touched the screens anyway because that is IT's job. Went to the guy who manages our fob system to find out which thieving bastards had been in and taken them. He could tell us nothing.

Turned out to be another department in the same building who had them, they claimed they thought we'd moved out to another building, which is total ballcocks as there are some people in every day, and if we had moved the screens would have gone with us. We all lined up and watched them put them back. Was very satisfying.

VillanellesOrangeCoat · 23/03/2022 23:18

@doineedtotoughenup damn I didn’t think that through!!

VillanellesOrangeCoat · 23/03/2022 23:20

@ghostyslovesheets

I have to keep explaining that the money was just resting in my account the housekeeper forces tea on me 24/7 my two colleagues are awful - one thick and obsessed with rabbits, the other a violent alcoholic I try and ring a co worker for support but he never rings back I holiday in a caravan - filled with adolescents and a shrieking co worker I was caught kicking my boss up the arse

it's a load of bollox

Grin Ah, g’wan g’wan… Was there a spider baby too?
IamSarah · 24/03/2022 08:01

I sit next to the photocopier in our office. I hear everyone's worst swears, those things never work!
lljkk · 24/03/2022 08:35

Back when my group had money they bought a beautiful printer-photocopier-scanner. I worship the exhaust it expels. Anyway, covid happened, the printer designed to print 500 pages an hour barely prints 5 pages a week, now.

I only go in to office occasionally -- every time the printer has a different name! There are dozens of other printers listed at the organisation. Since others in my office barely ever print, they shrug because they don't know what the printer is called this week. It's like a little detective game each time I'm in office - not quite Semantle, though.
