…the Ukraine resistance against Russian troups to the British voting to leave the EU.

From the BBC: he said Britons, like Ukrainians, had the instinct "to choose freedom", citing the 2016 vote to leave the EU as a "famous recent example".

Seeing the death and destruction on t.v. and thinking it’s a good analogy? I don’t get what could possibly be going through his mind to even think this.

He's a disgrace.

It's a horrifyingly callous and blinkered comparison, which doesn't bear any similarity to the actual situation.

Much like the crap he spouts every other day. Didn't you hear? We're spearheading the Ukrainian refugee program worldwide!
Except we're not, we're full of shit. And sadly that's now how the whole world sees us...

It's just embarrassing. Utterly embarrassing.
He'd have been on the first ride out that he was offered in Zelensky's situation.
