Also have a shark cordless for quick nip round, been very pleased with that too - had it about five years I think

Hummingbirdcake · 25/02/2022 09:47

Henry.

Border collie

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 25/02/2022 09:51

10yo Henry. He's indestructible.

Nsws2015 · 25/02/2022 10:14

Shark duo clean, I love it but the whole anti hair wrap technology thing is a con in my eyes, my husband is always complaining about having to cut hair out of the brush roller!

catscatscatseverywhere · 25/02/2022 10:27

I have Dyson v11 and really like it.

LightsoftheNorth · 25/02/2022 17:51

@cobblers123

A bagged Sebo. Had it for six years. Also a VAX and a Morphy Richards bagless cordless cleaners. Both the cordless ones aren't that good but ok to just whizz round for a quick tidy up.

The Sebo is fab, it's quite heavy to lift but very light to actually use. Really picks up the dirt (very hairy cat) fur and clods of mud, leaves and twigs the cat brings in stuck to his coat.

Got rid of the Dyson bagless I used to have as was forever emptying the blasted cylinder, with the Sebo it goes months before I change the bag for a new one.

Where the dust and dirt goes once it's inside the Sebo is a puzzle. I mean the bloody Shark needs emptying several times when you vacuum, but the Sebo just seems to carry on forever.

Shark liftaway, I think it's brilliant.

YanTanTetheraPetheraPimp · 25/02/2022 18:12

Shark Liftaway and it beats my previous Vax and Dyson by miles.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 25/02/2022 18:30

Miele CX1 Blizzard with the small upholstery brush attachment.

Anything that has the ability to change DP from constitutionally allergic to vacuuming to the one who has just done the stairs whilst I'm sitting on the sofa drinking tea has to be good.

BearOfEasttown · 25/02/2022 18:33

This little chap here! (HENRY!) Got him around10 years ago. Never given us any trouble. Would definitely get another one when he eventually gives up the ghost!

What vacuum cleaner have you got?
Redshoeblueshoe · 25/02/2022 18:34

I had a Dyson I hated it. Now I've got one of the Henry's, James. It's fabulous

Jonny1265 · 25/02/2022 18:55

Another vote for Shark. Deals with my dog's hair without issue.

Henry. I really, really hate it - it hardly sucks anything up no matter how often I empty/clean it, and it’s bulky and has an annoying smug face.

itsnotdeep · 25/02/2022 19:03

Miele c3 - it's fab. I have had a Shark and hated it, and have also got a henry which is good too.

Have an eufy but never use it.

Abouttimemum · 25/02/2022 19:05

Shark lift away and it’s magnificent. DH has a Henry for his shed as it can cope with all the plaster and wood and shite from his building work.

Vinotinto78 · 25/02/2022 19:07

I’ve had several Dysons, a Shark (hated it) and recently bought a Henry. Henry is the best by far. Bit clunky to pull around but bombproof and eats pretty much anything!

Sprig1 · 25/02/2022 19:09

Henry all the way.

LadyEloise1 · 25/02/2022 19:12

A Miele Cat and Dog.
An old workhorse.
But sometimes I look at shiny new Light in Weight cordless models and .... go back to my trusty Miele.

maddening · 25/02/2022 19:13

Shark cordless, love it, so easy to use.

StiltonIsLife · 25/02/2022 19:14

Cordless Dyson (even if I felt bad for buying it, due to James Dyson)

tigerlilymochalatte · 25/02/2022 19:14

Dyson v11 but the outsize version, love it. Always charged, easy to pick up and have a quick whizz around the kitchen but also does the whole house with the larger attachment.

Tootsey11 · 25/02/2022 19:14

I'm a cleaner, so have used many different makes.

Henry takes the top spot, Dyson DC 39 with turbo head then miele.

Buy the turbo head for a Henry, it's fabulous. Only gripe with a miele is that it can sometimes grip the floor so much you can't shift it.
