Dip with pizza

Light hearted but I am genuinely curious to how many of you use the dip that comes with Domino’s…

It’s so baffling to me why you would ever want to dip a slice of pizza into anything but I assume many do???

AIBU to think dip is odd
AINBU dip really doesn’t belong anywhere near pizza

I bloody love the Domino's dip.

I also order garlic butter for my pizza crusts at Pizza Express. (May explain my size and shape)

I quite like Domino’s pizzas, stuffed crusted New Yorker always goes down well. Occasionally we go to an authentic Italian pizza place nearby which is nice but sometimes you just want the takeaway experience and pig out. A friend of mine is a bit of a pizza snob and looks down his nose any time i mention takeaway pizza but it’s horses for courses, can’t be fine dining every night.

YANBU because imho dipping pizza in some slimy sludge is revolting, but YABU as people can please themselves 😁

Yes and at home with an oven pizza I dip it in normal Mayo especially the crust

I seem to recall it’s hugely unpopular on here. but I absolutely love the special garlic butter dip that comes with Papa Johns. I order extra and keep them in the fridge for any future pizzas.

I dip my entire pizza slice in salad cream or if I go to Pizza Hut I dip it in the thousand island dressing

Domino's dip is great but don't be fooled into thinking that the garlic dip that comes with Papa John's pizzas is anything similar. It is the most revolting substance on Earth and I have never met anyone who likes it. I reckon even seagulls would turn it down

YABU to buy Domino's pizzas.
Why is this always one of the fist comments on a dominos thread. Is it always the same person or is there a whole subset of people who think they are superior because they don't like average quality pizza shop pizza?

The dip is the best bit.

Farmfoods do a bottle of garlic may that's almost as good. I have that if I have other pizza.

I’ve tried to drop the dip as it adds several hundred more calories to the already enormous calorie fest of dominos - but it’s no use! The dip really tops it off and the combo is so bloody good. So if I have a dominos I basically resign myself to consuming over a day’s worth of calories in one sitting.

And don’t get me started on their cookies … 😋

Dominos is the worst of all the takeaway and delivery brands.

Try Papa John's.

But yes never use dips with pizza.

Always the garlic dip and the honey and mustard dip for me. Sometimes I mix them together.

Never had Domino's in my life and don't like pizza really but dh and one of the DC always make dip for pizza. They dip the crusts in it.

It's just personal preference. People get so het up about how other people cook steak or arrange scones. Is pizza and dip the new pointless food argument?

I don't really like pizza but I do like the dips. I dip the actual (Hawaiian) pizza in it. I don't eat the handles crusts

I like almost all food.

Dominoes isn’t as tasty as pizza should be, and the garlic dip is awful.

Other dips can be nice with the crusts of pizza with a lot of crust.
