Music gig at 17 weeks pregnant

Hi just after advice on a dilemma.
Pre pregnancy I agreed to go to a gig with a friend. It's now 2 weeks away. I'll be just over 17 weeks. They've asked if I'm still comfortable going.

On the one hand I do want to go. I'm feeling fine in myself now during second trimester, could happily stand for the evening etc. I would stay near the back away from the bouncier crowd and I don't want to stop everything just cause I'm pregnant. I was looking forward to it.

On the other hand, it'll be loud, crowded and probably with a fairly lively crowd (rock gig). I also don't want to ruin my friends night if they would rather be in the crowd but will feel they have to hang back with me.

What would you do?

YABU - go and enjoy
YANBU - don't go, too risky

When punk first became a thing in 1977 (yes I am quite old) my partner and I lived on Brighton seafront. Is was an amazing summer and there were punk band’s playing for free, or cheap entrance fees. We had a great time seeing them (baby due in November)………..so I say go op, you may regret it if you don’t.

Our dd heard punk rock in the womb, and is still a great fan to this day!

No advice OP, but I’m going to the same gig. Enjoy!
