Fish and Chips

Ordered fish and chips for tea, told the fish will be done fresh so 8-10 minutes - not a problem.
Lads wrap up the bags of chips and pop in the hot counter thing next to the sausages/pies etc.

Person A thinks the chips should be wrapped up once the fish is ready or the chips go soggy and smushed together

Person B thinks this is fine and Person A is making a fuss over nothing

Who is being unreasonable?

What annoys me more than an unctous chip, is when they wrap the fish in paper, which sticks to the batter, so by the time you get home and unwrap them, all the lovely batter has gone soggy and and has stuck to the paper !
But if you get them in a tray, you always get a lot less chips for the same price Angry

I worked in a chip shop for 2 years as a student and we did the chips fresh with the fish.

DH did too and agrees.

Another vote for person A.

Chips should not be put in bag until fish is ready or will go cold and soggy all mushed together. I would love fish and chips now with peas or coleslaw. Enjoy sounds lovely on this cold windy night.
