Flop is the most even tempered, tolerant, laid back person / sock / weird stuffed rabbit ever. He puts up with all manner of whining and bullshit from Bing and his mates but never, ever loses it. Should we all just chill out like Flop?

They wouldn't be working when the kids are home would they? We see them at their kindergarten/school .. I imagine they are working then?

Non of the whole Bing program makes any sense. But Bing really is a whiny little shit and I suspect that Flop hates him as well really. If he was honest. All of the silly made up words and isms piss me right off.

My own personal theory about Bing is that Flop is a sock puppet filled with the soul of a dead criminal. He's having to go through some sort of purgatory by raising Bing, and every time he loses his shit or is anything less than perfect, he has to start over. Padget and the rest of the puppets are angel-like guardians who watch over everything, but Amma has specific responsibility for helping reform Flop.

I cannot tell you how much I hate that fucking rabbit and his weird sock puppet guardian! My daughter has autism and loves Bing. She has started repeating whole episodes of Bing but in the accents and voices of the characters. All day, everyday. I feel like I’m living in an episode of it.

The swing episode makes me irrationally angry. Also the episode where Bing breaks Coco’s hula hoop and instead of buying a replacement, Flop tries to convince her that the damaged hula hoop is actually improved. Just no Flop. No. Flop.

I enjoy the swing episode, it’s the only one I let my daughter watch. I love to see bing get booted in the face when he walks in front of the swing, finally getting his comeuppance for never fucking listening to what he’s told.

I’m with you OP, I love Flop. Bing gets a lot of hate on here but isn’t he about 3? 3 year olds can be hard work.

Interesting, I work with a boy who does this with Peter rabbit. No one else seems to have noticed and I've been raising it since last year when he started.

I like this. My personal theory is that Flop and the other guardians are some sort of higher alien intelligence who are breeding and raising genetically engineered animals for some dark purpose. One day Bing will have a gun and we will cower in fear before our sock puppet gods

I actually feel more preached at by Bluey, with all the endless playfulness and stereotypical family unit, and their friend being annoying because he's an only child.

I channel Bluey's parents- there are so many moments that I relate to. Have you seen the bedtime episode where they're all up at various stages of the night? And the one where Bluey falls into the creek and says, "I swallowed mud! What can happen?!" And the dad replies, "Ahhh, it'll do you good." I aspire to being as chilled and creative as they are. Plus, they're funny.
