Flop is the most even tempered, tolerant, laid back person / sock / weird stuffed rabbit ever. He puts up with all manner of whining and bullshit from Bing and his mates but never, ever loses it. Should we all just chill out like Flop?

Re Pingu it’s true the parenting is the opposite to bing. Pingu is regularly shouted at and has his bum smacked in one episode.

It’s why she is so pleased about the unexpected sleepover when Pando falls asleep in Bing’s bed. And why she just happens to be jogging past when they are making chalk dinosaurs on the pavement. But he should have dumped her when she pushed Pando’s swing into Bing’s face (… and then asked him why he ran into it).

I'm watching wolf hall on iPlayer and all I can think is "ooh that's a bit bold flop" every time Thomas Cromwell (aka mark rylance aka the original flop) gets clever. I think Henry VIII would have been less naughty if he'd had a flop. Or was it that he did have a flop and that's what caused all the trouble?

Nah, he'll just help Bing sort out the wreckage, bury any bodies (in the garden, with a picture of them that Bing drew to keep them company), help him get over his guilt and then cheerily announce, 'Grand theft auto- it's a Bing thing!'

Flop is fucking awful. Bing goes around doing murders or whining about nothing and Flop just encourages him: “That’s OK, Bing, not to worry.” IT’S NOT FUCKING OK HE’S A LITTLE SHIT.

I cannot tell you how much I hate that fucking rabbit and his weird sock puppet guardian! My daughter has autism and loves Bing. She has started repeating whole episodes of Bing but in the accents and voices of the characters. All day, everyday. I feel like I’m living in an episode of it.

The swing episode makes me irrationally angry. Also the episode where Bing breaks Coco’s hula hoop and instead of buying a replacement, Flop tries to convince her that the damaged hula hoop is actually improved. Just no Flop. No. Flop.
